Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 18Bad Hotel
Room was way over priced for the value it offered. Lobby is small and disgusting. Elevators are old, noisey and slow. Over all waste of money.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 18terrible sleep at this hotel.
The bed was a monstrosity that we got no sleep on, the room was dark and dated, and the housekeeping staff seemed hostile to outsiders (a little unusual in a hotel!)

Elevators didn't work. Staff wasn't well informed. Stairs weren't clear as to the exit. No full length mirror afnd took several tries to get someone on the phone.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 18Great Location, Dirty Hotel
We stayed over fourth of july weekend and reserved a room with a jacuzzi bath. When we got back to the room the first night, the bath did'nt work, the A/C did'nt work, and there were hairs in the bed... So the very friendly staff moved us to another room and told us to call the website we booked with(this one) about getting a refund b/c the bath didnt work. The bath was the only reason we paid extra for that room and they did not have another one open for us to stay in. So we called this website and guess what they told us... it is the hotels responsibility, funny how somthing goes wrong and no one will take responsibility. In the end, the staff was great the location in Seattle is great but I will never stay at the Roosevelt again, there are to many other better options in the same neighboorhood.

I was very disappointed that in every hotel I've ever stayed at allows late check out, however when I called downstairs to request this Marissa informed me that they don't allow it. I didn't inquire if this is a regular thing I just said ok. However, in the future I will not being staying there again.

I have stayed at other nearby properties, this property isn't bad, but there are other properties nearby that are nicer. I've learned to steer

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 18"Bad Deal"
My husband and I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and 1st outing in downtown Seattle as well. Upon arrival, our reservation couldn't be located. The first room we got was NOT the room we booked. When we did get the room with jet tub,(#312) it was not functional! When we let the young man at the front desk know about this and asked if there was anything the hotel could do for us, he said "no..you should have called at 11:30 last night and we would have fixed it then".Imagine our disappointment! In addition, we had valet parking and waited for over 25 minutes. My husband requested the keys to our vehicle, which was parked 20 feet away, only to be told the valet was out moving another vehicle. Why did he have our keys if he was moving someone else's vehicle??! Another lady was also waiting for her vehicle, which was 2 spots down from ours. Finally, we saw 3 valet employees walk out of the hotel valet entrance (were the cars being moved inside?)who, by the way, looked very confused as to what was going on.We got no apology for the wait, but instead a dazed look from the valet and a "is this your car?" I requested the keys and my husband loaded our luggage and we left. If you want to have a pleasant stay in beautiful downtown Seattle, do not stay at the Roosevelt.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 18Tiny room/Big $
Tiny, tiny room with tiny shower. Not at all what I expected for the amount of money I had to pay. My view was a cement wall with a large air conditioning unit right outside. The only good thing is that it is VERY close to the Convention Center.
