Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 43Good - but a few important features missing
The two main missing features of the hotel are they're missing a business center and guest accessible laundry facilities. A pool and/or hot tub would have been nice, but not essential. Otherwise, it was very good. Food, proximity to necessary attractions, helpfulness of staff, cleanliness, etc. all were above average.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 43Not What I Expected
I made a reservation for a room with a Queen bed for my anniversary. When I checked into the hotel they said there weren't any Queen beds left so we would have to stay in a room with two double beds. This was very dissatisfying. The clerk said they would give me a room on the highest floor available to make up for it. When we got into the room it was only on the 5th floor out of 9 floors. I thought the view might make up for it, but when I opened the curtains all I saw was the wall of another building and an ally. It was a nice hotel, but I was very disappointed. Also, parking was very expensive.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 43Nice Hotel but needs improvement
Very nice hotel but needs to improve customer service. The wet bar had expired product, warm beverages, someones left over food, and it was dirty. I asked four times for it to be taken care of and it was never attended too.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 43Bristol Hotel
The AC thermostat was installed upside down, so the heater was on instead of the AC. I called the front desk twice to remedy. The window was broken, so we go noise from the Greyhound station all night.

The sliding door to the bathroom made a very loud squeaking sound and not only in my room. I was charged for the bottle of water that I did not drink. I had to call twice to the hotel to request a refund. Location is quite good.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 43Bristol Hotel
This is an over-priced hotel, in an absolutely horrible part of town!! The front desk clerks are very mediocre, although the housekeeping dept. is very good. The restaurant on site is over priced, the food is so-so, and the service is very bad. I would NEVER stay here again!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 43Severly Understaffed
No bellman to help with luggage, you have to hunt down the valet despite the very expensive parking fee. We were there for almost a week and not once saw the restaurant open. It was not as clean as I would have like, as I was traveling with my infant son. We finally put out the breakfast sign on the door and the food was never delivered. It was pricey and the value was about half it should have been. The stale stench in our room could not be gotten rid of. The elevator was a the worst part of all. I would push my son's stroller in and it would close on it. Not safe!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 43Good Hotel but needs some changes
The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was friendly. However, my husband and I were dissapointed that no one offered to help us with our luggage since we were also trying to carry a 3 month old baby. We were also disappointed by the price of the overnight parking but did appreciate the quickness of retrieving it when we were leaving very early in the morning and needed to go to the airport. The room was very clean and they promptly gave us a crib for our little one. Unfortunately our room faced the side near the greyhound bus station and trolley so tended to be a bit loud.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 43Hidden charges may apply
It was the first time in my life that a hotel charges extra $22 for its guest (not a visitor) parking. 4 of us reserved 2 rooms and we arrived by only one car. Everything in this hotel is just fine based on the price but the extra parking fee + Gratuity will be charged upon your check-in or check-out, which is considered a hidden fee. The hotel should provide free or Complimentary parking for its guests.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 43Few big problems
Called ahead and then arrived at 3pm (check in time) The room that I was told was ready had not been cleaned. told to seat in the lobby with our baggage until they finished cleaning the room. Forty five minutes later went to room and air conditioner did not work. Check out was miscalculated.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 43Not Great
The hotel itself was very nice and I would have enjoyed the stay a lot better if we had been able to stay in the room we reserved. We reserved a room with 2 double beds but because a wedding party had decided last minute that they no longer wanted the king bed rooms they reserved, the hotel gave our room away. When we asked about this they gave us a single rollaway when our reservation was for four adults. We ended up having to ask for another rollaway and push the two together in a corner. Very uncomfortable and frustrating considering we reserved the double bed room.
