Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 8You get what you pay for
We booked this hotel because of it's location on the island and the great price for an ocean front room. The hotel is located in an old shopping center. The pool area is really small and there is no where to eat at the hotel. Just a small bar by the pool. The lobby is down a set of stairs and unless your room is on the ground level you will have to drag your luggage up a few flight of stairs too. It wasn't terrible but we definitely got what we paid for, which wasn't much.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 8Nice place
The hotel was beautiful and I love where it is at. I had a bad experience. A mouse ran accross me while in bed and left waste residue all on my bed. I was not comfortable at all that night.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 8money right, but some staff rude, and others were nice
hotel experience was okay except morning staff gave us a room with no ac working, then changed our rooms twice!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 8Cleaning once every 3 days
We were not told that the hotel cleaning service would only come into our room once every 3 days. So we had no trash emptied, no replacement soaps/shampoo, no towels replaced, etc. everyday. Since we stayed for 3-4 days, this was only done once.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 8Terrible value for the money
I was sorely disappointed with this hotel. They first put me in an "ocean view" (around the corner) room that had a strong musty odor. There was rust on the patio door frame, and stains on the couch. I requested that they move me to another room, and they did promptly give me two rooms to choose from. One smelled even stronger of that musty odor, and the other - well, let's just say that the Febreeze worked better in that one. So I moved my things over to the new room. There, the fan didn't work in the bathroom - even running it for 45 min after a shower, there was still steam on my mirror. In the 4 days that I was there, my swimsuits never dried out, so they ended smelling musty, too. I also found that the walls were so paper thin that I could hear conversations, movements, showers, music, tv, etc. from the next room - loud and clear. I've never been in a hotel room that had walls that thin. Then they wanted to charge you for internet in the rooms. I'd read, when I booked, that the lobby had free internet, so I went there- only to find that they had pay machines. What they didn't tell me, and I only found out my last night there, was that there was free wireless in the lobby. Even my television didn't work properly - anytime you went to change the channel by pressing an up or down button, it changed the channel to 2. Regardless of where I was originally. I tell you, if I were on the mainland and paying this price - which was lower b/c of a promotion, btw, I would have had free internet, a clean, odorless room, and a free full breakfast in the AM. Do NOT waste your money here.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 8Mediocre
The hotel accomodations were ok. There were no elevators, only stairs so if you don't like having to climb request a room on the ground floor. I requested an ocean view and I got one, but it wasn't beach front--that apparently was extra. The room itself was ok, maybe smaller than what I expected.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 8I would not recommend this propety at all.
There was a movie being filmed outside our room. It went on until 4am, and the next day the equipment ran all day and all night taking down the set. This project was planned and I was very upset that we were not made aware of this. We paid for a room and were unable to get any sleep.
