Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 112Pretty good hotel
It was a decent place that had clean rooms and decent beds. I had read a review that parking is sometimes an issue which is something i agree with. You cant leave in the evening and expect to have a place to park when you return. It is a good central location to be able to visit the whole island.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 112outstanding, very very good for the price
Very clean, well maintained hotel, air conditioning was very cold but very easy to adjust. We were even giving beach towels to use. Right next to the Coconut Market Place.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 112Great location and great price
We stayed at the Aston Islander over the long Labor Day weekend. We had a great room with an ocean view. They have a nice pool area and it is right next to the Coconut Marketplace that has a great breakfast place, Eggbert's, and a general store for trinkets and snacks as well as other specialty shops. The location is excellent as it is close to Lihue and gives you equal access to the west shore and north shore. We spent most of our time out enjoying the island (we recommend the helicopter tour, zoidac raft tour, luau, beach hopping). The parking lot does get full if you come back later in the evening, but there's plenty of parking on the drive between the group of resorts and the marketplace, and we felt very safe. Overall a great choice!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 112Gorgeous Location & Room
We had an oceanfront hotel room. Each room is individually owned and furnished. We had very nice furnishings and even had dishes and silverware. There was a refrigerator, microwave and small sink with dishwashing supplies. The beach in front is nice for sunbathing and playing in the water. The pool is great, the poolside bar had good drinks for a fair price. Onsite laundry facility a plus. We would stay here again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 112Great location
Room clean and well equipped, location of ice and soda machines inconvient, office staff not very helpful, late check-out fee very high. Beautiful location on the beach and very convient location to airport, shops, etc.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 112Comfortable, clean, quiet and near everything
This hotel is clean and has a nice laidback atmosphere. It is laid out more like a motel, but the rooms are very comfortable and the staff was friendly and courteous. The beach was too dangerous for swimming but good for sitting on and reading, and Lydgate park is just up the street with a very safe rocked in beach for kids if you need it. Lots of restaurants nearby and not far from the airport or really anything else. (This is a small island.)

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 112Good value, but very basic
The big thing this hotel has going for it is its cost. The hard tile floor throughout the room make it far from cozy, and many rooms simply view other buildings in the complex. Parking can also become full quickly requiring parking at the nearby shopping center. The service staff was nice and the room was well maintained.
