Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 11Convinient but not so much
We selected this hotel because it is close to the airport but it is actually about 2 miles away. You'll need to take a shuttle, at 6 euros per person, or a taxi to get there. If you have 3 people or more in your group is cheaper to take a taxi. Also you have to schedule the shuttle and prepay to be dropped or picked-up from the airport so don't forget to call ahead. There is no shuttle from 12:35 to 4:00. Unbelievable! The TVs have channels for a lot of languages but only CNBC, BBC, a Russian channel, a Japanese channel, and Bloomberg for English speakers. why would I be interested in Japanese news in English???? The food is terribly expensive and just average. 20 euros for the breakfast buffet. We just walked down the street to a local bar and had breakfast for 3 euros for both of us. The rooms were fine and the service was good. We needed a cork screw to open a bottle of wine and the waiter came to the room right away to open the bottle. The pillows were bad, dense and hard.

the hotel staff was hateful, not helpful in any way. we carried our bags from the curb to room - no one offered to help. the restaurant and bar prices were outrageous - 8 euro for a small dish of ice cream. shuttle bus charges to the airport [FCO] were 6 euro per person - the trip was no more than a couple of kilometers. very frustrated with this hotel - would not recommend under any circumstances.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 11Don't stay
I picked this hotel because I wanted a room close to FCO and because they had an airport shuttle. We could not find the shuttle at FCO for 40 min and had to take a taxi for 30 E. Got to hotel and our room had no heat. Next morning, told that "free" shuttle was 6 E each person. Internet did not work in room also. All in all, worst experience in Europe. Food was bad too.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 11Nice hotel...service not so nice
We booked this hotel because we wanted to be close to the airport after coming off of a very beautiful 12-day cruise. At check-in our front desk agent was rude and unwelcoming and later that evening my husband got sick (as a result of something he ate) and we were contemplating calling an ambulance...the hotel staff spent most of the time standing around us talking in Italian and staring rather then trying to be helpful and assist us getting him to our room. It was a frigtening experience and the hotel staff made it even worse. While the hotel room and common areas were nice and well kept for the price we paid, the quality of personal service we recieved made it an awful stay.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 11ok stay
We stayed at this Marriott one night prior to leaving Italy on an early am flight. The location is great for that very reason, close to airport, it was approx. a 5 min drive in the hotel shuttle . The rooms were clean, the continental breakfast was ok. Our 9 year old son loved the pool and we enjoyed the outside bar, but it was pricey (8 euro for a glass of wine). What we didn't like was the fact that there is nothing within walking distance. A member of the reception desk told us there were restaurants located within a 15 min. walk, well, 45 min. later we had finally found something which was closed (siesta!!) So all in all, it was ok but if you are looking for something nearby forget it.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 11Courtyard by Marriott Rome Airport
It was so far removed from the city that it was not practical for us to go back into Rome for the evening. I would not have booked it if I had realized it was on the other side of the Airport from Rome. VERY FAR FROM THE CITY. If you want a place to rest before you go home, it is perfect. The hotel is very nice with a nice bar and restaurant and very nice people. Location is the only down side to this hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 11Costly for quality and location
If it is important to be near Fuimicino Airport, Rome then there are very few choices and this is one. Surrounding area is not ideal and hotel has only the general services - bar, restaurant, small meeting facilities.

The staff was not knowledgeable about the airport shuttle. The food at the restaurant was ok but priced too high .

The food in the restaurant was very expensive for the quality. The pay TV was not working at all. They gave me another person's receipt when I checked out, which I did not notice until I was at the airport. I emailed them about it and have not heard back. All in all, this is not a place I would stay again.
