Perfect!

Gr4eat room for the Money, Easy to get to.

I knew as soon as we stepped onto the elevator it wasn't working properly and sure enough it broke down later in day. Not a real problem seeing we were on the 2nd floor. Overall, well worth the money. Pool was nice, staff were pleasent. I'd stay again.

Nice Middleclass Hotel

Hotel is older type but in nice shape. Short walk to the beach. Some of the reception staff are quite unfriendly. Aircondition is of old type and much to loud to run during nighttime (single A/C for each room).

Parking Problem!

I booked through hotels.com via an agent. The agent called the hotel to verify that we could leave our car for 8 nights while on our cruise at a cost of $5.00 per night. On check-in we were rudely told that we could not leave our car; the clerk almost called me a liar when I told him that our agent called to verify parking.

Great room

The breakfast was excellent and more than canceled out the $5 a day for parking. Good location where we could walk or ride our bikes to the beach, bars and restaurants and attractions. Very comfortable bed, microwave and fridge. Needs a table to sit around for a snack. Great pool and although we didn't go to the bar it seemed nice. Drinks a little expensive. Will stay at this location again.

Decent hotel

Internet free but during peak hours becomes essentially unusably slow (10+ second ICMP round-trip-time). Even when "normal", the wireless connection is not stable even though signal strength is good. Very convenient to beach and beach strip. Breakfast options--either grits and corned beef hash or sausage gravy/biscuits alternating by day. Eggs, waffle maker, ham/sausage link, toast, sweet bread, cereal, make-your-own-yogurt every day. Decent and filling if not haute cuisine. King bed "partial ocean view" is very partial, but you can see water. Private balcony to dry stuff is nice (many other rooms have common balcony). Ice cube maker has the odd black spec come out. Probably carbon to clean the water--which was a good idea since sink tap water had a yellow/tanish tint. Pool was warm (in late September), decent and very salty as was nearby ocean (86F). Parking $5 per day plus tax. Parking spaces are a bit tight.

Seemed good value for money (on offer price)

Was NOT happy with having to eat my breakfast (which was very good) on PLASTIC PICNIC plates with plastic cutlery. This would not be a recommendation -in my opinion.

Much better than expected

The room was in excellent condition, renovated, nice bathroom, nice bedspreads, and spacious. One step out the back door and I could see a sliver of the ocean (good enough considering I didn't expect to see itfrom my room). The hallway needs reburbishing, but who spends much time in a hallway? Hot buffet breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

The free breakfast was very nice and just a short walk to the beach. We loved it.

Great beach location

Walk to Ft. Lauderdale beach, shops, restaurants. Hotel felt a little old and worn. Air conditioner was very loud. Good breakfast and great location.
