Gem in Northern Italy

Hotel is a grand old hotel located on top of a hill, with an extraordinary view of Varese. Room was large by European standards and very comfortable. I wish we had more than a single day in the area. Internet service is via Swiss Com and is billed at daily rate of 22 Euros. Breakfast was very good. Parking was free and plentiful if you are driving.

Truly a Grand Palace

A grand hotel that must have been built for royality in early 1900s. Although now a little dated, but still extremly nice. The grounds are fantastic with a tenis court and nice little pool

Decadent Splendor

This place is a time-warp and a most pleasant one. The staff is multi-lingual and helpful. Rooms are ancient but with modern amenities including a jacuzzi large enough for a party if one is so inclined. The complimentary breakfast with silver service is worth the price of admission. Casual attire is welcome and on-site free parking is ample. There is also a supermarcati at the bottom of the hill and an ATM about a block away. You can drive to either Milan or Lugano in about an hour. Would definitely stay again; it has to be the best deal in the region.

Beautiful Hotel

This was a treat very pleased for the money we paid. We were off season so we got a really good deal. Our view was spectaculer i think we were the only ones there its proubly a little out of the way for most people

fantastic hotel in aincredible setting

beautiful! this is old Italy. One feels special from the moment you walk into the hotel.
