Mixed feelings

Good view from the restaurant with pretty good food. Some rooms required two separate elevator rides. After deciding this was too inconvenient, the staff did let us switch rooms. Hotel charged a fee for the inroom safe that was mandatory. The safe didn't work so they removed the charge. Close enough to walk to some restaurants, but still a long walk to the majority of entertainment.

The Worst Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach

This was without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed for 2 nights. I should have left the first night. The electronic key reader didn't work, the room smelled of mold and I never received maid service or replacement towells the entire stay. The view from the cracked window allowed only a view of a brick wall. PLEASE try any of the nice hotels in the area and stay away from the Sea Club Resort.

The hotel was very outdated and not clean. The thing going for this hotel is its location.

Stay away!

This hotel had little to offer other than a great location right on the beach. The building is very dirty and so rundown, minimal maintenance noted. Place is a sad eyesore in an otherwise nice area. Couldn't tell you when the hallway rug was vacuumed last, gross! If you walk barefoot in your room, your feet get black!!!. Housekeeper didn't even have a mop on her cart, so how was she mopping the bathroom floor? Saw a roach! Room furnishings were worn down and shabby. The hotel had a complimentary breakfast but they said we couldn't eat there because we had hadn't booked directly with them and so we "hadn't paid the full price." Parking lot spaces were so tight, worried that my rental would get scratched. Definitely not a case of: "Get what you paid for." More a case of "buyer beware." Not worth the money, stay away from this place!

old, ugly hotel in great location in need for an upgrade

this is a very ugly hotel in a great spot which should be replaced by a newer, nicer and cleaner place.

Needs Improvement for the price.

The room was small and the bathroom was dirty. The room had a bad smell.

You get what u pay for

Clean restroom. Old bed linens and stained carpets. If u want a nice hotel this isn't it, but not bad for the price. Friendly staff and great location.

Not worth your money

There was hair all over the bathroom shower walls, room reaked of smoke (and it was supposed to be non-smoking), the toilet looked like it was 100 years old. I would not waste my money there again

Spring Break '09

**READ BEFORE*** I am a 20 year old college student from Kentucky who went to Fort Lauderdale, looking not so much for a stay in a nice luxurious hotel, but to mostly have a good time with my friends and drink a couple beers. Even after two years of living in filthy dorms this hotel experience was a huge shock. First of all upon entering the room there were pubic hairs on the commode and long female hairs in the shower. Being a 20 year old male i tried to overlook these things and move on. On our third night at the hotel rains came and upon my return to our room at around 4am and found a steady stream of water coming from the roof onto my suitcase. Not being too upset i went to the front desk to find a different room for me and my three freinds. The manager on duty put us in a room with only one bed for the four of us guys to share. The next morning i went back down to the desk to request a price reduction or some type of compensation and was told they didnt offer any compensation even though my entire suitcase was soaked. The manager gave me a free drink coupon and thought that was substantial. You should definatly consider before renting this hotel. There is a hotel directly next to this one, which i ended up getting a room at that i reccomend for all you looking for a cheap stay.

"Vintage" hotel

This is one of the cheaper hotels right on the ocean drive, but you get what you pay for. The hotel is old and in somewhat disrepair. Carpets have stains, each floor has a distinct odor and I'm not sure the sheets were very clean. BUT, it is in a prime location on the strip and if you get one of the two rooms on the 6th (top) floor you get a decent view of the ocean.
