Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 5Not worth the money
Wave over priced. the service was so-so. I had better service at the Hyatt Place, which is half the price and across the street. They do have a Starbucks though which is very handy in the morning. Also the resteraunt in the hotel is very good with great sercvice. The worst part of the stay was checking in. The person at the counter was extremly rude.

Very poor and unreliable shuttle service between neighboring hotels and the Gaylord Texan. Big problem during my stay for the convention. Got charged one way and roundtrip service to the conventioncenter. Moderate quality for the dining at Bonnie& Clyde.

For the price it was adequate, but not exceptional. The valet service, doormen/bell hop were friendly and helpful. Desk clerks not quite as friendly or helpful. Extra charges were added for the workout room, tennis courts and racquet ball courts, which was disappointing. Rooms were small, but adequate but below expectations for cleanliness. The bathroom sink was left dirty from the last guest and it took some time before this was rectified, which was a bit disgusting. No apology made at all! The outdoors were pleasant, pool nice, hot tub not heated, nice walking trail.
