Very Impressive Hotel

The Hilton DFW Lakes was more hotel than I expected. All of the employees went out of there way to accommodate us. They were pleasant and friendly. Our room was spacious and the bed fantastic. I would have wished for the bathroom to be a little bigger so you didn't have to step back between the toliet & vanity to close the door. I also would have liked the a/c to actually cool the room. It was an older model & was very quiet - but just didn't have enough "umph". It's a non smoking hotel, and I was relegate to the patio behind the lounge. Wow ! I wish I could have stayed there all night, it was a wonderful stone laden patio w/ceiling fans & a huge fire place (not that we would use it in a Texas August). But everything was just grande!

wonderful experience, alittle pricey

It was a wonderful experience at the Hilton! The fitness room was great and the outdoor pool was wonderful! I was dissappointed with the price of the beverages....$10.00 for one mixed drink and $5.00 for a beer? It's ok to make a profit, that those prices are excessive and unnecessary for hotel guests!

Exceeded Expectations

This hotel has it all for a reasonable price. The pools were fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Restaurants are great. We will certainly stay here again.

Little things that should have be better

The room that we were checked into was not ready. The maid was still working on it and we waited in the hall for her to finish. At 8:30 am on Sunday morning I could not find a newspaper in the entire hotel. I was directed to the coffee shop, then the sports store, then the desk. No one appeared to care and no one thought it was important enough to correct. I had to walk to my car and drive over to Whataburger. At 10:00am the maid tapped twice on the door and immediately entered to clean the room. She excused herself and left quickly, but came back in 5 minutes and tried to tell us she had to clean the room (she did not speak any English). I had to go to the desk to get someone to ask her to wait until we checked out in an hour.

Great hotel but pay for each thing seperately

The hotel was great! Great comfy rooms, good in-house food and drink. But the high speed internet should have been free. This is a posh hotel. Give us some internet. COME ON!!! Cheers,

Great overnight getaway!

We live in the area and I just wanted a place to take my 8 year old to swim and I could relax, read and enjoy a drink by the pool. It is a great place for that. They could use another evening dining option, but there are a few places wihing walking distance of the hotel, if you want something else. I highly recommend this place....

Very Nice.

Very nice place for a price comparable with nearby 2 star chain hotels. Great dinner at the bar and great breakfast at the restaurant. Very nice outdoor area at the bar as well. My main concern was that it might be noisy in the rooms due to the hotels close proximity to the airport. Suprisingly, the rooms were extremely quiet and the outside noise was completely unnoticable. I was completely satisfied with all aspects of my stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful Stay

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The shuttle service was very convenient and very informative. I plan to visit Dallas again and plan to stay at this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed or was looking for. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends - Wonderful Stay!
