Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 44Basic needs - good location - great price
Well used furniture needs replacing but this hotel is definitely trying to come back with freshly painted walls. Basic bed, shower etc. Views from windows of room were great of the port of Miami. Ask for a room on the higher floors for best view. Convenient to shopping and restaurants as well as less than quarter mile to the water. Room was clean but basic...not luxury so if you are a princess, foggetaboutit. How much time do you spend in the room anyway?

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 44Continental Bayside
This hotel is great for one night or two. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL! you get what you pay for. Me and my girlfriend stayed there two night before we went on our cruise. I priced out most of the hotels in the port area and south beach and it was the cheapest, considering it was memorial weekend. If your going to Miami on a small buget, this is the place. LAKERS!

I liked everything in the lobby but the neighborhood I wouldn't walk around the block it was really scary at night. I was not impressed with our room the mattress must have been as old as the hotel and we didn't even sleep in the bed. There were springs in the mattress were really out of shape.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 44Good value
Can't beat the price and location. Short stroll to the bay. Convenient to taxi and shopping. Two blocks from Cuban restaurants or starbucks. Great view of port from upper floors. Some rooms freshly painted some not. Linens are clean and servicable but not luxury by any means. Overall clean and reasonable for the amount of time spent there. Basic needs covered- not a luxe retreat.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 44Acceptable for the money and neighborhood
It's fare for the price I pay. I just need a room to spend two nights before my cruise. It meets my basis expectation. It's neat, but the blanket is too worn out. The neighborhood is good for people with short stay. Over all, it's acceptable to me.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 44Good Value, Very Old Hotel
We stayed here the night before we left for our cruise. The hotel is very convenient to the Port of Miami, and very cheap compared to a lot of others in the area. It is within walking distance of shopping, stores, and anything you might need. Inexpensive shuttle available to the port. Room was tiny, clean but very old. Paint peeling, linens very worn. Pillows very thin and lumpy. Bathroom was comically small, my husband hit his head on sink every time he tried to sit on toilet! Overall though, for a few hour stay until getting onto cruise ship was great value and I would probably do it again! Just be aware that you are not getting the Ritz here... however, place was clean, no bugs, and it does have an awesome view of the Bay! Good luck!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 44A place to sleep
It was in a great location for where we were going in miami. It was old, a little stale air, and needed paint. But it was a place to sleep that served its purpose.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 44to stay only some days it's ok
The wall of the room is dirty; they don't paint it again, the sheets look like old. But to stay only some days it's ok. The room in general isn't dirty.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 44Needs a Paint Job
The price was OK for what I needed, 1 night. I could see the Miami Port from my window. The parking was a block away for $10. I had read several reviews about this, so it was OK. The lobby was nice, but dated. When I got off of the elevator, I noticed the walls needed to be painted. It made the hall way look dirty. The room was ok, but again the walls needed paint. The bathroom was remodeled. It was very tight, but it was very clean. I over heard a guest leaving early, because it wasn't very romantic. She was right. Great place for a cheap 1 nighter and very close to the Port.

THE HOTEL WAS OLD WITH A LOT OF POTENTIAL. COULD USE SOME ELBOW GREASE. WE HAD A GREAT VIEW. JUST STAYED 1 NITE TO CATCH A CRUISE SHIP SO IT WAS WORTH IT. IF STAYING FOR A WEEK WOULDN'T STAY. GOOD LOCATION ACROSS FROM SHOPPING AND GOOD RESTURANTS. STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND NICE.
