Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 12Poor Value
Really overpriced! The staff and services were very cold. no warmth to the service... The lanai was very poorly equiped (2 old chairs and a table), we were really expecting at least 2 lounge chairs... Restaurants were just Mediocre, and the fees for the emenities were way too much!

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 12Expensive but not impressive
We stayed 2 nights in Sheraton and 3 nights in neighboring hotel Royal Lahaina (Kai Tower) and we liked Royal Lahaina better. Though Sheraton is ok with cleanliness, room comfort etc..when it comes to getting around in and out of hotel room, the area of hotel is so huge that we had to take 3 different elevators from front desk to our room. We felt like we are in a maze figuring out the exit. When we seeked help with directions from people who stayed longer, even they felt the same (confused). We felt that it defies the very purpose of the vacation which is meant to be enjoying rather than spending time in understanding the architecture of hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 12Customer Service is not existent
I had called the morning of our reservation to state that we were on a tour and would need to check in late. They replied that it would not be a problem. When we arrived, they had given our hotel room away. We were left with no choice but to accept a room in the farthest away complex, with 2 full beds- we were on our HONEYMOON!! not the way we wanted. we stated this to them and they replied they would see what could be done the next morning!! very rude!! We were supposed to get free breakfast with our rate but they would not acknowledge it and charged us.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 12Over priced
We stayed at some condo resort for less than half the price, in pretty much the same neighbourhood. In fact the rooms at our condo were much better and the view was also much better. This place is way over priced which is based on its brand name.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 12nickle and dime
The room rates are lower than the nicer hotels in Wailea, but by the time they finish nickle and diming you with resort fees, chair rental and towel fees, you're much better off paying the higher rate for a far better hotel. I would definitely recommend the Fairmont in Wailea, which was easily the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Please pass on the Maui Sheraton. It would be decent if it were priced $100 less.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 12Need Improvement
For the price of the hotels, you pay for what is available in the resort. in addition, there are additional hidden fees for $25/day for parking and internet access that are not an option. The room is big but need major upgrade especially the bathroom, small and very old fashion style. The water pressure in the shower is very weak and unpleasant.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 12This property has seen it's better days
Extremely over priced for the quality of this hotel. It needs major renovations and work. Also, the pool is almost unusable since it's not heated. The staff was pleasant, but not a lot of flexability with some of the people hosting in the restaurants. The hotel has you wear wrist bands to show you are staying there, but they never ask to see a room key so the bands are worthless since anyone can get one. Our room had paint peeling off, the carpet was filthy and really dated. People were smoking on there balconies and we complained but nothing changed. It is a non-smoking property. this is far from a 4 star property.
