Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 4Beware Construction
Pleasant staff, and a refurbished room made the stay bearable. Trumping those, however, was the LOUD construction going on in the hotel starting at 8:30am.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 4Great location, close-by everything
Here's a just-above-no-frills hotel you can feel safe in, just a couple blocks away from Strasbourg's central "Homme de Fer" tram station and a short walk (maybe 10 minutes at most) from the central train station. There's plenty within a short 5-minute walking radius, including major shopping, eateries, and tourist sites. The hotel must be in the middle of strange remodeling phase. Our room looked a bit older, with a strange mix of older hotel-esque furniture and newer Ikea pieces, not to mention an unusual (but very comfy!) long-haired area rug; meanwhile, a friend's room was much smaller, but very updated, with a modern bathroom and room furniture. In a nutshell, you're not guaranteed to get the picture you see on the website, but you'll still be happy. One forewarning: only one English-language channel on the TV, BBC World News. If you're staying for a long time, like we did, it can get taxing.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 4Great location.
Room near train station; good value for the money, considering the pricey Euro. Nothing fancy; older property. A 10 minute walk to Strasbourg's cathedral and restaurant section. Accommodating staff. Bakeries in the neighborhood offer inexpensive breakfasts (less than the hotel's, which is pricey).
