Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 23Cheap....but I guess you get what you pay for......
If cheap is what you are looking for, look no further. However if you want to sleep in a place that you're not afraid drug deals are going down, this is not for you. Lots of random noise and people hanging around outside of our room at all hours of the night. This is not someplace I'd bring the family for a week's vacation, but for an overnight stay it was OK.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 23NIGHTMARE AT TRAVELLODGE
Hotel desk clerk was very rude when I tried to check into the hotel early and I was unable to go to the beach for hours because of the desk clerk. The room had bugs in it and "heavy" sea air smell. Continental breakfast was real bad and I bought my coffee and breakfast rolls from seven-eleven around the corner. Finally, I had to check out two days early because of the condition of this place.

Loud motel with people partying outside my room all night. There are better places to stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 23their management is very bad
I would not recommend it at all. I asked for a none smokers room and they give me a room that the room and sheets smelled like smoke. there were two chairs in the room and both were broken. when I called them they said they will replace them, but they never did. I had to go and get towels and cleaning supplies by myself. there wasn't anything called room service.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 23Would have been good...but
We stayed here over sand soccer weekend. The condition of the room and pool was satisfactory for the price, and the location to where we needed to be was great. The problem was that the walls are paper thin, and our neighbors yelled and screamed all night for both nights until about 4:30 am. The second night it was an argument with profanity and everything. I finally called the police after 1 hour of nothing but screaming and curse words (my 10 year old was there), but it didn't stop after they left. The hotel does not have night staff so we were stuck listening to it until it stopped. So needless to say I was a little sleep deprived and grouchy when I left. I probably would not stay at this hotel again, I value my sleep:)

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 23This Old Lady Needs New Makeup!
Booking with Hotels.com usually means I get more than I expect for my money. This time was huge disappointment. Wouldn't have stayed if I had not prepaid. Hotel is old and worn on exterior and needs work. Room were okay, except for the horrible smell. Had housekeeping spray it to no avail. It helped for a couple of hours, but was the same when I returned in the evening. There are way too may options from Hotels.com that are within a few bucks of this place.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 23Not what I expected
I expected much better from Travelodge from having stayed with them at other locations in other states.... there was no vent fan in the bathroom, hard uncomfortable beds, they advertise a "continental breakfast" that consists of mini donuts, two dry cereal dispensers, and a small coffee maker.... it a small walk in lobby that has no sitting area, and is only about 6 ft by 10 ft if that.... and on the day I checked out, the desk clerk had parked her minivan in the drive of the hotel, blocking access to the street. As I was getting ready to pull out after checking out, she came out to her vehicle, I thought to perhaps move it. However, she got in, rummaged through her belongings, got out, and walked back to the lobby door.... looked at me, and told me that "there is enough room for you to get past".... I barely cleared the vending machine on one side by about 1.5 inches, and her van by about 2 inches... she should not have left her personal vehicle blocking the drive to Atlantic Ave.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 23You get what you pay for
Quaint hotel at a bargain price! The staff and front desk personel were very friendly, polite and accomodating as much as they could. However, the heat in both rooms stopped working in the middle of the night during the coldest time of the year (late January) and after multiple attempts to fix it they finally moved us to different rooms by upgrading us at no charge. But even then, the water in the showers would alternate from hot to cold abruptly. If it were Summer I'd definitely recommend this hotel for the price but during the winter, just be aware because, you do get what you pay for!

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 23Avoid it
The hotel staff were extremely unfriendly and unprofessional the entire time we were there. The room service did a half job most of the time and didn't leave fresh soap or shampoo. We were on the road for two weeks and this was the worst hotel of all the ones we stayed in through several States. I would never stay at another Travel Lodge simply because of the way we were treated here.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 23Questionable Hotel
This hotel was not what I expected. This is not a major chain, its a very small family owned hotel. Their ad stated it was remodeled but it was only repainted inside. The sheets and towels were dirty. The carpet had large brown stains on it. The microwave was dirty. The toilet made this awful noise when you flushed. My room which was non smoking, smelled like smoke and mildew. There are motion lights at the back of the building so all night the light came on. I would not stay at this hotel ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
