Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 21NEVER AGAIN
The door wouldn't close all the way. The lock was falling off the door. The bed spreads had cigarette holes in them and the room smelled horribly of smoke even though we booked a non smoking room.

The room was clean but we did have a problem with the stripping on the bottom of the door. I was about 75-80% detached from the door so it drug along the carpet when you opened and closed the door. Our bathroom was in need of alittle attentions. It looked like a light switch was missing and just looked older. Not updated like the lobby. Also, the pool water was really warm. It was warmer than the attached hot tub. The lobby was very nice and the continental breakfast was also very nice. They had alot of breakfast items to choose from.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 21Under renovation
This hotel is in the process of being updated and was under renovation. We were not aware of this when we booked. My husband and three kids and I just stayed the night passing through on our way home vacation. The room was out-dated, not the cleanest and had peeling wallpaper. The beds were basically comfortable. It served our purpose for one night. It will be a much better place to stay once the renovations are completed. They do have a nice indoor heated pool.

I chose this hotel because it advertised that it had cribs for children. My two year old grandson was travelling with us. When we arrived, the crib was broken and no other was available. We went ahead and checked into the room. The room was not very clean. Our feet became dirty by just walking on the carpet. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and some of the trim was missing around the mirror and along the tile on the floor. My daughter refused to take a shower or bath her child in the tub. The hotel was in disrepair and dirty. I will never go back there again.

Nice staff. The room needed more attention to detail in the cleaning area. The temp control in the general area was really out of balance. The free breakfast was more just a show and not a real attempt to provide a nice meal. We have stayed at other Baymont hotels, but we will not go back to this one.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 21Dirty Room, Inadequate facilities, Indifferent staff
This was one of the worst stays I've had, ever. I picked the hotel based on the pictures, but don't be mislead. The room felt grimy. There was a used bandaid stuck to the shower wall. The ceiling grate above the shower was falling off. The TV screen had scratches all over it. The bathroom sink leaked, spewing water all over the bathroom floor when my wife used it. The sheets seemed cheap. The pool water was as cloudy as dishwater, and the hot tub didn't have any water in it at all, which was disappointing because that was the main reason I wanted to spend the night there. When I told the front desk attendant about it in the morning, he muttered a "We apologize" before moving onto the next customer. My advice: pay the extra $5 or $10 and stay somewhere else.

I felt that the room was dirty, and the pool was so full of chlorine you could scoop it up from the bottom of the pool!

Hotel was dirty, had loose plaster on hall ceiling outside our room, pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom, explanation was that the chemicals had just been added, and it will be that way for a few days, regardless, we didn't swim. It was probably a great hotel at one time, but is now in need of a complete makeover.
