Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 25Otherwise great hotel ruined by their vendors petty charges.
5 minute call to Europe cost close to $50.00 dollars. The hotel claims AT&T as long distance carrier, however same carrier from pay telephone cost less than $15.00. In two stays have not been able to get MIA/WiFi to work. The system keeps rejecting valid credit cards. Most other hotels in the MIA area have either free WiFi or hardwired internet connections.

When I alighted from the elevator to go to my room there was a strong stench of stale and rotten food in the corridor. there was a nearby garbage bin which seemed not to cleared for days.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 25Miami International Airport Hotel
The room that we were given was right near the staff service door and kept slamming closed every 15 seconds over the three hours that we were there. It was so loud we ended up checking out after three hours! The room was so small that you couldn't close the bathroom door because it would scrape the toilet bowl!

Prepare for the cleaning staff that comes roaring through the halls at 8:00 AM, so, if you want to sleep in, plan on getting up then to tell them to stop the shouting. The rooms lack: coffee maker, iron, mini bar, microwave, hair conditioner, blow dryer and a chair at the desk/table. The rooms are very cramped, just one foot between the foot of the bed and the oversized entertainment center so be careful not to stub a toe or to walk into the entertainment center door. When I arrived there was food on room service trays in the hall which I pointed out to the bellhop since the onions smelled so bad. I was told, "so call the front desk." "No" I said, "I already told you". So add attitude to my list.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 25Stinks for the price
The hotel is run down, the lounge closes at 11:00 PM (Saturday night). The room smelled of mildew, the bed was uncomfortable. Only good part was it was convient.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 25Awful experience
At 8 pm on the evening I checked into the hotel, a situation occured that caused no water in the hotel. I called the front desk to inquire about the problem. They didn't know when water was going to be restored. I asked was there any way bottled water could be provided to brush teeth & take medication. I also asked if there were any rooms that had water supply, but they told me the hotel was full occupancy. I went to the front desk to speak to the manager & the story changed that there were rooms available, but couldn't assure me there was working water. To make this long story short, a gallon of drinking water was delivered to my room 1 hour later. I will never stay here again as the sheets barely fit the bed & the room was not clean enough.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 25convience only
If this hotel was not connected to the airport, I would have never stayed here. Front desk service was poor and the room was so tiny that it was difficult moving around. I was staying alone and felt it was a dark, gloomy place. I would not stay here again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 25i should've stayed at another hotel and taken a taxi to MIA
This hotel was just "ok" - the front desk clerk gets huge thanks for letting me check in early, but that was really the only positive (other than being right there for my early am flight the next morning). For me the deal breaker was when the internet (of which i paid extra for) went down at 7pm that night and never came back up. Now I'm in an airport hotel with absolutely no resources. I would be reluctant to spend the money here again; would most likely stay at another hotel near the airport and taxi in. But thanks again to the nice front desk clerk-- you were the highlight.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 25Convenient but not good
The hotel is very convenient since it is right inside the airport, but it is very badly maintained and managed and way to expensive for what it offers.

clean but don't expect much. walls are thin and housekeeping was cleaning the next room at 6:30am when we got in at 3 am.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 25Not worth the price except for convenience
While it was certainly convenient for travelers to remain within the airport 's immediate area, the size and comfort of the room left much to be desired. It was overly cramped, to the point where there was nowhere to place suitcases, one could not get by the bed to walk to the bathroom when the TV console was open, and the bathroom door swung shut so strongly that there was no way to air it out - no exhaust fan or way to be drying hair, etc... without the door firmly shut. We have stayed in many hotels and this was not worth the price tag to any other hotel we have stayed at. One expects to possibly pay a small premium for staying within the airport confines, but that value needs to work for both the hotel's benefit and the traveller.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 25needs improvement
As soon as I landed at the Miami airport I went to check in prior a business meeting, the floor of the bathroom had human ecesis on the floor. I called housekeeping and it took more that 12 min for someone to come and clean it. As soon as I went down I notified the frontdesk and they pffered me t change room. I didn't request another room just to have my cleaned. You should consider this situation whenever you use hotels with lower standars.
