Very difficult to get to

We are an elderly couple who have been visiting friends and family in America for a couple of months. We were on our way back home to Germany and were looking for a nice airport hotel to spend the night in due to a lay over flight. We phoned and checked with the hotel prior to booking and were told there was a courtesy coach that ran between the airport and the hotel. When we landed we could not find it. We checked with airport information and were told it did not exist. After a mimimum of 3 staircases and some long walkways where we had to lug 5 suitcases we finally made it to the hotel.

Located near the Airport Terminal. Great if you are flying but not when you drive in from another state.

Room service

The room service was not worth the money, I paid $42.00 for a chicken wrap, salad & two waters. they added a charge of $3.00 plus 21%, so that it doubled the price of what you received. of course when I looked in the menu later, it was in small letters on the bottom of the page.

Tough recommendation

This is the hotel for you if you have to stay overnight at DFW. We chose to stay here to be conveniently near an arriving flight of a family member. We should have stayed somewhere closer to shopping. But, that was our choice. BTW, do not bother with the Galeria in Dallas. It was a huge disappointment. The room was not as big as the pictures would lead you to believe. Other reviewers complimented this Hyatt on the lack of noise from the airport, but we discovered otherwise. Also, we ordered extra towels because we used a few to keep the hallway light from flooding under the door and lighting the room at night. The staff was absolutely impeccable, and the breakfast was outstanding. It was great to have our eggs cooked fresh rather than scooping hours-old eggs from a chafing dish. So, we expected a bigger room for the money. Lesson learned.
