Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 13Big Heart, Tiny Room
As an ex-resident of Kensington I knew the Kensington Close and selected it intentionally as was most convenient for my trip to London. Everything about the hotel was as I remembered it, except that now they have divided the original rooms into two. Although comfortable, the size is not recommended to claustrophobics (which I am not). If you are looking for a decent place at a decent price in a prime location, then by all means put up with the size of the tiny room and the dingy baathroom.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 13maybe, just maybe 3 stars, definitely not 4 stars
The Kensington Close Hotel and Staff are friendly and nothing can beat the hotel's location. However, the charge for the internet in the rooms when most hotels in London offer the internet for free. Their solution, four pay by the minute computers in the lobby, is embarrassing. The quality and size of the rooms is poor, even my London standards. This hotel might rate three stars. Nothing more.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 13Great room for cost
Great location, great price. Extremely small room, but typical for London. Clean and convenient. Had to pay extra for WiFi.

Very good value, simple, pleasant design, very clean, quiet and very convenient. Would stay again. Beds, sheets and pillows could be softer, but they're fine. Slept like a baby!

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 13Obnoxious Staff
Completely rude and couldnt be bothered with going out of their way to help anyone. And on top, when i went back to get to stay another night, the manager gave me 3 different quotes. Very shady and unprofessional. I was treated horribly.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 13Nice pool, shame about the hotel
This hotel bills itself as a 3 1/2 star 'spa' but needs a total make-over. Though the pool (about 20 meters, maybe a bit longer) and gym (compact) are fine, the hotel is more like 2 1/2 star. The standard rooms are coffin-sized and threadbare. You have to get an executive business room to get a reasonable double bed. Wifi access in the rooms is charged at £15 per day. The breakfast buffet is awful. Most of the staff mean well but have no clue about service. Stay here only if you are an avid swimmer!

The non-smoking room was very smoke smelling. Despite recurrent changes none of the non-smoking rooms were smoke small free
