Metropolitan Hotel

Great location! For the price we paid it was an excellent deal!

We stayed at the Met during the Labor Day weekend! The location is great! It's right in the middle of Downtown area. Walking distance to a lot of places like shopping malls, restaurants, museum and Canada Place (awesome spot because Canada Place has shuttles to go to different spots in Vancouver). So, if you don't want to drive (just in case you didn't know parking is very expensive in Vancouver!), I recommend walking and this place is great because there are a lot of places you can go just by walking to them! We paid a discounted rate so for that rate, it was an awesome deal! However, if it's not discounted, I think the hotel is pretty pricey. I guess it's to be expected since it is directly across Four Seasons Hotel. You may hear some noise from constructions in the neighboring area, but hopefully that'll be over soon. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and couldn't have chosen a better place for our visit.

Great location

The location was great, in the downtown area. The neighboring building had some renovation going on. Some extra discount would have been great considering this fact ;-) Great service!

Staff prompt and friendly, hotel very clean, room great value and upscale, bathroom awesome. Will stay there on next visit to Vancounver

High-Class Hotel in Great Location

My wife and I enjoyed this wonderful hotel. We parked the car in the hotel lot all weekend and just walked everywhere. (Parking is $28 per night in their garage, where parking is tight, so you might want to consider using the valet.) Vancouver's historic Gastown is very close, as is plenty of shopping. We even walked to the Granville Public Market, although we took the bus on the way back, which we recommend over walking. (FYI, the buses only take coins in Vancouver, but the bus driver was nice enough to take us on anyway.) The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well decorated. The pool was clean, and though it is small and does't offer the best view, we were alone in it when we went, and the view was still nice. Also, the hotel has squash courts and assigned parking for some of its (probably more wealthy) guests. That, along with all the bellmen and the quality of the entire hotel made us feel like we were staying in luxury.

Great Hotel! Awesome Location!

This hotel exceeded my expectations everything from the location to the awesome shower to the fitness center was just perfect. It is very centrally located near the museums & extensive shopping. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all.

Very comfortable!!! Very NIce!

Very nice service, room is big, bed is very comfortable, located in the downtown. Parking service is good.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel over the past weekend, and LOVED it! Everything about it, location, staff, rooms ect!!!!!!If you are looking for a nice place in a great location, this is your hotel.

Outstanding Hotel

A five star hotel at three star prices. The room was beautiful, the staff was great, the restaurant "Diva" was fabulous. We will return to this hotel.

would definitely go back

The rooms are impecably clean and well appointed. Bathroom is big with separate bath and shower. The hotel is 2 blocks from the major shopping district, which we found perfect. Service was great. Restaurant a little pricey for a standard breakfast. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay here again on a return trip to Vancouver.
