Crowne Plaza Riverfront at the Arch

We had a great view of the Arch from our room but the road/highway in front does produce noise in the room so if you need quiet I suggest a room not facing the arch. This is a older hotel with a remodeled nice lobby, bar area, room was in ok condition and clean.

Rooms Need Some Attention

The staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. The valet service was excellent. Our room was a nice size with a nice view. However, there were some articles that had been left behind from a previous lodger, so it made us wonder if the vacuum had been run in the entire room. The carpet in our room was stained in several areas. The hallway doors and walls were scuffed. We were disappointed in the overall appearance other than the dining room and the lobby which were very nice.

Great Price, Even Better Room

Hotel was amazing, great location with plenty around. Only problem was with the elevators. There were six and at one point i had waited 20 minutes to catch one downstairs.

My Stay at the Crowne

A very large room. Comfortable Beds. Pool on the roof w/ a nice balcony overlooking the Arch. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Great Room for Downtown Activities

We enjoyed our stay (one night) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Our room was very large with a lovely view of the Arch and the Mississippi River. It was great to be able to walk to Busch Stadium and not worry with parking. Great restaurants nearby, too. Everyone was very helpful!

Great Service, Great Food, Great Location, Uncomfotable Room

Almost everything was great about our stay except the in room A/C. The unit isn't a real A/C, I'm not sure what it is, but it barely blows out any air at all, let alone cold air. You can literally hardly feel any air moving at all out of the vent, it made the room uncomfortable. It wasn't HOT, but it wasn't cool either, we had to sleep without the sheets or anything on top of us at night in order to be comfortable. That aside, here are the positives. All of the staff was courteous and helpful, with the exception of a few bell boys that were just inexperienced. The food from room service was AMAZING, by far the best I've ever had at a hotel, and we got a variety of items, all of the above average. The view was awesome, we could clearly see the Arch and downtown from our room. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the Arch, Convention Center, and Busch Stadium. If not for the A/C problems I would have definitely rated this 4.5/5 or maybe 5/5.

Great location for Cardinals game or the Arch

The hotel itself is only average, but we didn't have high expectations going in based upon reviews from others. It is a very convenient location for games and visiting the Arch. The parking garage/payment system is FUBAR.
