needs improvement

needa improvement tv did not work and wake up call was not called to the room

Surprisingly good value

The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms were very clean. The room included a frig, microwave and 32 inch flat panel TV, which was a great surprise. We walked to most everything. There was a 24 hour drugstore at the corner and a 7/11, so anything we needed was right there. I will definitely stay there again.

great room for the money

Honestly we were only in the room to sleep and shower. The room was clean and in a great location to Halloween Horror nights. I would stay there again.

Smoking room :-(

I requested a non-smoking double bed room. They gave us the keys and told us we would be on the 5th floor. When the elevator door opned we were hit with a cloud of smoke. When we opened the room there were ash trays. Lucky for them it didn't smell TOO Bad. When I called the front desk to complain and get another room, they said there were no other room available. We were stuck! When I woke the next morning my throat hurt :-(. When leaving I told the person at the desk about our smoking room and he said "I'm sorry". I will not stay at this hotel again. Plus the sheets were rough (felt like 30 count).

Good Room for the money

If you want a cheap room near lots of attractions this is a great place. Make sure you check your room for cleanliness, but overall the staff made the bad things there very nice. Great staff, cheap rooms.

Perfect

We stayed at Best Western Orlando Gateway overnight to go to universal's Halloween Horror Nights. We'd gotten a discounted price and got an amazing room for the money. The staff was incredibly friendly. We lost our keys and they were very helpful about trying to find them. Everything was clean and I felt very safe there. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great room for the money

The service was great. Everyone was helpful, and as a woman traveling alone, I felt safe, which is a major issue for me. The staff was very courteous and helpful. My only suggestion for improvement would be in the restaurant. The food was edible, but nothing special. As there are numerous restaurants close by, this was not a major issue.

Great location

The hotel was great , so close to Wet'n Wild and everything else. I recommend it to everyone.

Decent Hotel, good price, very convenient

Great hotel for the money, very good rate on hotels.com. A/C was not working well, but it did so so. Staff was extremely friendly and polite and it was easy to navigate through. I felt safe as I could see my car through the window and I was close to all the attractions within minutes. Best part was no charge to park! If you need a place just to sleep, and not much else, this is it!

Great Location

The front desk was extremely informative about the major attractions in the area. Wet n Wild is just across the street and Universal and SeaWorld are just a short 5-10 min drive.
