Good Deal

It's not the Ritz Carlton, but this hotel is a nice, clean room, for a good price. We've stayed here on numerous occasions and have always been pleased. The shuttle to and from the universal parks is also very convienient, as parking can add a good amount to the cost of your trip.

Great hotel for the money

Considering the renovations that were underway, the hotel was relatively clean and will be even better when they are completed. The price and location were excellent- very close to the local attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone...

nice ,comffy,bar, and good food all in one place

enjoyable stay for reasonable price

The room was nice, although the beds were a little small. Staff was friendly but the guy at the tours desk tricked us into going to a timeshare presentation by saying we could get free tickets if we went on a 90 minute tour of the hotel across the street. It was not just a tour, but a 4 hour timeshare pitch. At least we got our free tickets in the end. I would not recommend the hotel restaurant unless you just want drinks or snacks. The portions were quite small and they automatically charge a 20% gratuity if you order food. Other than that, it was a nice hotel and in a good location, close to the parks.

Great hotel for the monty

The only negative is the free shuttle bus was late both ways and only had 2 pick-up times.

Great Place to Stay

Did not find anything to complain about. Everything was great! Good personnel that made us feel welcome when we stayed there. Great location for the nearby attractions!

Very Convenient to Universal Studios

We checked in late after spending all day at Universal. It was very convenient and we were upgraded to a King Suite. The bed was very confortable. We didn't stay there long, so we were not able to enjoy the hotel much, but we were very happy. We wanted to stay there again next month, but the hotel was already booked.

Overall not too bad for the price.

Reserved the Leisure double and there was nothing above a standard double in our room. Alot of renovations noted which is definitely needed. Ice machine on our floor was off, so we had to go to another floor. While looking for a working ice machine, we found one floor where the ice machine had been totally removed and the coke machine was in the hallway in front of the elevator. Housekeeping staff was polite and although we were in and out of our room, our room was still cleaned. I did not like the fact that at check-out, we were told they were unable to print a final receipt to show there were no extra charges. They just wanted us to take their word for it. But overall for the price it was not bad.
