Not worth the price

My friend and i got very sick after one night of sleeping at this hotel. We should have requested a new air filter in our room, nice pool but dirty, ketchup packets at the bottom! Although very convienent to local casino and nearby shops.

Outstanding Hotel

The Hilton was very nice, great location, clean room, friendly staff (the bar service could use some work) for only a little extra we were placed on the bottom floor with a patio that opened up to the pool. The staff was great y room was not ready, but allowed me to lay by the pool and called me when it was ready, also provided a shuttle that took us a couple blocks down so we could experience the Palm Springs nightlife. I would stay at the Hilton Palm Springs anytime.

Not worth the money! This cannot be a Hilton hotel!

We waited three hours to get into our room. The reception desk told us to wait by the pool until the room was ready. We justed wanted to relax, then the gardeners around the pool area started up with the leaf blower and the weed wacker. It was impossible to relax. Finally, after 3 hours, we got into our room which was very, very basic. Not up to Hilton standard at all. Further, at 3am in the morning the guests in the room next to ours came back and started playing music and yelling loudly. They woke us from a deep sleep. Security took care of it almost immediately however but it just added to the dissatisfaction of our stay.

Room quality versus rates

I was a little disappointed with the rates, compared to the quality of the room/hotel. However, I do understand it was a holiday weekend, so I'm sure they raised their rates. It just seemed a bit high. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel.

fabulous!

This hotel was absolutley wonderful. Outdoor bar at the pool, 2 huge jecuzzis, large pool, the room had an exquisite bed. It was like sleeping on clouds. everything was perfect. At the restaurant, the waiters literally waited on you. My glass was never empty. It got to half way full and i automatically got another. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Best hotel stay by far.

great hotel

the hotel was great. the staff was super friendly and the pool was fantastic. the room was great and i loved having a balcony, even if it didn't look out to anything exciting, it was nice to be able to sit outside and read a book. the only thing i didn't like was that the hotel was very far off the freeway, but most of the hotels were, and this one was great. i'd definitely stay here again.

Great Escape

For a quick getaway from the Los Angeles area and you are sick of doing the Vegas thing - the Hilton Palm Springs is perfect.

Headless Hilton

Definitely NOT a home away from home! Reasons: Lousy lobby......... no ambiance Tiny, understocked gift shop No room service after 9pm..... on a Saturday night???? Surly and rude restaurant staff and room service staff Good points: Nice, clean room Front desk people very nice and friendly Valet great!

Nice Hotel

Overall, my stay was decent. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was nice. The only dissapointment was that my room was a non-smoking room and all of the non-smoking rooms are located on the first floor, next to the lobby.
