Do Not Stay here

I was hopeful that my free night stay would be enjoyable. I even got an upgrade when booking. Well if I had paid for this hotel I would have requested my money back. I am sorry that I wasted my free night for this dirty hotel room. The hotel itself was so beautiful, but the rooms are old and dirty, even if in a non-smoking room u could smell smoke! The buffet on sunday morning was so over priced and the food and service were not good! Over all I would suggest u visit the hotel but dont stay!

Great location, horrible room.

I must say I was very disappointed when I got to my room. The furniture was very out dated and the carpet was absolutely disgusting. I can't count how many stains were on those carpets. My room was in the Havana Tower. The postitive things is the Tropicana enviroment the casino, bars, restaraunts were great but room was gross. I won't stay again what a disappointment.

Good deal for the price

On the boardwalk, the quarter with it's many shops and places to eat make this a very nice place. The comedy club for the price was great. One bad item was the non-smoking room had been smoked in. The solution was to come in and spray febreeze! Not so good.

Takes forever to register

I know they're cutting costs, but it amazes me what level of inconvenience their management deems to be acceptable.

Great room for the money

The room rate was unbelieveable for what I got!

i wasn't impressed

the hotel was ok for the price that i paid. i have been to Atlantic City plenty of times but never been to the Tropicana mostly because it's it just toO far down the boardwalk i got a great deal for a room so figure why not i didn't expect much from the room and that's what i got it was just a room nothing fancy but i have to say over all i did like the hotel itself i love the stores, restaurants and i to mY surprise they have a imax theater there too i don' t think i will get a room there again but i will be back to the hotel

Unacceptable

The room was shabby with chipped furniture. There was no coffee service even though there was a coffee pot. There was not shampoo, etc. The hotel's directional signs were confusing. Searched for the lobby, from the garage, for 1 hour. Needed to go back to the truck (self park) and it took another hour to find it. There were no personal anywhere to help. Several patrons, also lost, said they would never stay at this hotel again.

Door man service is not good. It's not frendly
