Good Hotel for London

There was no door man to help with your bags upon arrival. Check-in is computerized. The hotel is older and has been updated. The room was a little small but had everything that you need for a restful night. The bed was comfortable and it had a nice TV. The Location is great. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Hotel!

You couldn't ask for a better hotel at Tralfagar Square for the price. I've stayed in other hotels before in London and this is by far the best one. The room was what I'd refer to as 'American sized' which means when you opened the door you weren't on the bed and in the bathroom at the same time. It had a great, contemporary, modern decor and the bathroom was a very nice size. The location was perfect. We walked EVERYWHERE from the hotel even from our day at Hyde Park. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to London! The only cons were: 1) the bed was a bit hard and 2) you needed to swipe your key in the elevator to punch the floor and it took MANY swipes...but it's worth it for the security.

Great hotel in great location

We were so happy with our stay at The Grand hotel. Both the common areas and the room were new and up-to-date. The room was very clean, decorated tastefully, and large by European standards. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was also great for European standards (decent sized shower!). The amenities were great--the free purified water bottles was a nice feature, along with the free internet access (with printing!) in the lounge. The location was unbeatable--less than half a block from Trafalgar Square, right in the heart of London. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in London, and highly recommend it!

Great Location

First room was a smoking room and was saturated with the smell second night changed room to no smoking floor and was much better.

Wonderful hotel!

The location was central to all the sightseeing attractions! It was clean, updated, and very comfortable! Would highly recommend spending the extra money to stay here!

Great location in London

Great location, clean modern room. We thought it was good value for London.

Great Hotel in Excellent Location

We stayed at the Grand last week and had a great visit. The hotel is in a very convenient location and the staff was very nice. I'd definitely reccomend this hotel!
