Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 21Great place for the money
We got a summer deal when we stayed and were very happy with the hotel. Comparing prices we could never have received the overall experience for the price we paid somewhere else. We agree with others comments about the residential neighborhood and the surrounding area but we enjoyed our stay very much!

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 21This time, the stay was great!
This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Hayes Mansion. The 1st time was a tad below what I had expected of this 4star hotel. This time, all of my previous qualms were dashed away, as the lady who checked me in at the front desk immediately helped me, and I was on my way. I stayed on the 3rd floor, above the ballroom. It was quieter and nicer than my previous stay, which was in a different building. Fantastic stay!

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 21Lovely Hotel
We stayed in the wing to the left of the actual mansion. There was a wedding reception going on in the ballroom on the ground level, and I was worried we'd be kept up all night. From our room, we couldn't hear a thing. Bed was super comfortable and room was adequate. Did not have a view of the pool or mansion as described, though...our view was of the back street. The hot tub was open til ten both indoors and out...we had to search for the inside one, but had both completely to ourselves. The next morning we had breakfast in the mansion, 12 dollars a person including unlimited beverages. Was quite nice.

WE stayed here for our anniversary. I was very nice, and the room was one of the cleanest room I have stayed in. I would sty here again.

Everything about the place is wonderful. The surrounding neighborhood was a little surprising but you're not going to find a "mansion" in the middle of a developed area usually.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 21poor
We arrived on a Tuesday with obviously low occupancy. We requested a quiet out of the way room. We were given one immediately across from the elevator, which kept us up late. After midnight, staff woke us up by entering the room. Early in the morning we were awaken again by staff entering the room, twice. All this with a Do Not Disturb sign out. A bad experience. We will not be back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 21Bad Customer Service!!!
The staff was not so friendly. I guess for the money paid it was ok but you would expect more for a 4 star hotel. We won't stay there again for sure.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 21Had a great time
I got a great rate for this hotel so I decided to try it out. The hotel grounds itself was very nice, and the bed was VERY comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a romantic getaway. There really aren't many things to do in the areas surrounding the hotel, but if you want to just stay in the hotel (in your room or the spa), it's great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 21Loved the sitting room and the balcony overlooking the pool
The room was beautiful and quiet. Two flat screens, a little kitchenette in the livingroom, and an awesome balcony overlooking the pool. We had a blast!

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 21Expected more, but price was good
Walking into the hotel lobby, I had to wait a moment for the staff to greet me, as they were enjoying a conversation to themselves. Upon opening the door to my room, I discovered the single bed room that I had booked was actually a double bed room. It wasn't a big deal, so I let it go and didn't make any fuss about it. The room was nicely furnished and felt very clean. I noticed wall insulation is not the best, as I could hear a family in the adjacent room talking amongst themselves. Overall, the stay was nice, but I did expect a bit more from the Hayes Mansion.
