The hotel was really nice and in a great location...especially if you are visiting family at San Jose State University. The staff was great! My only complaint is the nickle and dime effect...20 bucks a day for parking, and 2.50 for a cup of coffee at the continental breakfast. C'mon...if you're gonna nail me for the parking, you should at least be able to give up a cup of coffe and a bagel. Overall though, I would stay there again and recommend it to others

I stayed for one night and I wish I'd stayed longer. I upgraded to the suite and loved it. The bed would have fit 3-4 easy and the sofa bed did sleep 3! The staff was very nice, great breakfast, comfortable with all the amenities! If I am in San Jose again it will be my first hotel choice.

This hotel was amazing. I've stayed in several hotels this year and this was one of, if not the best. The staff was so friendly, the room was very nice, and the bed was so comfortable. The style of the hotel was really cool as well. I stayed in town for the Rock and Roll San Jose half marathon and it was so convenient to everything. There are great restaurants within walking distance. The metro light rail runs right by the hotel, so it's really easy to get to and from the airport. I wish I was able to stay longer!

It's a small hotel that has focused on some nice touches in lighting, wall and floor textiles and bed linens. A couple of nit-picky points are that the breakfast buffet was not free, which is usually included in most hotels I stay, even at a cheaper price. And the increasingly common hotel parking fee of $20 a day. I realized after I checked in and reluctantly paid the parking fee that I probably could have used a taxi instead of a rental car ($200 for car and parking)as the airport and my appointments were nearby. Overall it was a happy stay.

Stayed on a Thursday night. I was a little concerned about the noise issue from the club downstairs as reviewed by other guests. However, the club was not open and the room was very quiet all night.

This hotel has been remodeled and the room and the bed were great! Right in downtown, close to SJSU, restaurants. Just ask for a quiet room near the back of the hotel. The restaurant can get noisy.

Stayed here 4 nights early July and then 4 nights at the end of July inbetween moving house and taking a vacation. The service we received was excellent and the staff always courteous. My husband was ill one evening so I had room service - they bought me a menu from their restaurant and I ordered directly from that- the cost was the same (no extra charge for room service), the meal was excellent and piping hot! The hotel is extremely well placed and convenient for all downtown attractions and restaurants plus is much better value than other downtown hotels - we have stayed at the Fairmont, the Hyatt (now owned by someone else) and the Marriott.
