Bermuda House, Daytona Beach

Don't stay here...choose another!

I admit my expectations were low. All we wanted was a beach front room and a place for our dogs. When arriving the person told me I booked a "partial ocean" view and needed to pay an upgrade for the "ocean-view". This seemed ridiculous considering nearly ALL rooms were empty. We requested a later check out...but declined it because it was not complimentary. Very poor customer care. It was nice to have a small kitchenette and to be able to walk out to the beach. If you don't mind poor service...choose this hotel...if service is important to you...choose another!!

Worst Hotel I've ever stayed

The room was dirty and disgusting, the shower wasn't cleaned (hair all over the walls and bottom), it had water damage and was very run down. I complained and they "upgraded" me to another room the 2nd night, and it was just as bad. The door would not close completely and the shower did not work. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent Hotel

I was pleasently surprised with this hotel. It has recently been renovated and my room was fantastic. I was very impressed with the seperate kitchenette and the awesome view of the ocean. The room was very spacious and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. I would definately recommend this hotel to others interested in visiting Daytona Beach and I plan on staying here in the very near future again.

Great room for the money

Hotel was clean, needs some attention to doors and locking devices, not all that bad just some TLC. Breakfast buffet was not what we expected but there were plenty of good places to eat close by. The hotel staff was very friendly, with it being the holidays most were off. We did see the hotel security on several occasions patroling the area. Would definitely go back.
