Outstanding location, within walking distance to many restaurants & bars, and with it's own movie theater! Plush room, wonderful bed. Very pleasant staff.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 13Outstanding hotel
My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary and it was everything we expected and more. We were supposed to get a jr suite and when we got there they actually upgrade us to a corporate apt.. It was top of the line!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 13Wonderful for relaxing
One concern we had was charges for internet and phone calls. Why can you go to a Motel 6 or Super 8 and get free internet service but get charged at a hotel that costs 3-4 times as much per night? Outside of that minor irritation, we had a wonderful stay - great room, nice poolside, walk in Forest Park, great little grocery store next door, wonderful anniversary dinner in Tenderloin room, sweet waitress in EAU restaurant. Will return sometime.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 13Great place for getaway weekend
The Chase really impressed us for our "getaway" weekend in St. Louis. The actual bedroom was small, but the living room area in the suite made up for it. Room was comfortable and clean. Location is great, just need to plan routes since a portion of Hwy 64 is closed near the hotel. Room service slow for breakfast, but they tried hard to make things right. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, and clear they are proud of the renovations and upgrades made at the property. Would recommend.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 13One of STL's best
If you are going to be doing anything in the Cental West End/Forest Park area and would like to stay in a luxurious hotel with charm from the early 20th Century, this is the place.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 13Great room for the money
I had never been to St. Louis before. My immediate reaction to the area 10 blocks before he hotel was o be scared. After the first day I loved it. Everyone in the hotel was incredibility professional. My husband and I dined in all three restaurants in the hotel. The food was wonderful in each one! If you haven't been in St Louis before either they are located very conveniently. It only takes a few minutes to get to The Arch, Budweiser, Zoo, Botanical gardens, and a fantastic park!

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 13Construction
Everything about the chase is great, but there is construction going on and there were some loud noises late into the night and early in the morning.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 13Wonderful...
The hotel is beautiful. We parked there in the morning before the Cardinals game. Though we hadn't yet checked in, the concierge called us a cab. When we returned at check-in time, the process was quick and easy. We aren't that familiar with St Louis, so we were worried about trying to find our entertainment elsewhere. No problem! There are several restaurants AND a movie theater right in the hotel! The food was great, and there was even a live organist before the start of our movie! Check out was even smoother than check in. Complaints? Parking costs $14 a night, and the only breakfast is a $38 champagne brunch.
