Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 95Sercurity no help
for the most part the hotel was very nice but our neighbors were not they were screaming all night. Although we complained to security they did nothing, did not even note that we called the front desk or sercurity, so we were not able to sleep or get any satisfation and for that reason alone I would not stay there again

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 95For the Older crowd!
Hotel was fine, got there around 9:30 on Friday night, was informed by front desk that they couldn't give me a room with a king bed that I had reserved because they were given on a 1st come basis and that the hotel was completely booked up. I had to laugh at that because walking thru the casino it was pretty much barren. The front desk attendent put in a note and said I would be moved in the morning, which I was. The rooms were fine, didn't do any of the dining and the casino didn't have as many options as the other larger casino's, oh and I'm 34 and think we were the youngest people there by 20-30 years.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 95Great Room For The Money
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a few days. I had no complaints. We ordered room service several times, and each time it took less than 10 min for them to bring it up. I loved the view and the comfort of the hotel. The furniture was elegant and the room over all neat. One thing I did not like was the shower, but thats nothing to complain for. The jacuzzi bath was great. The towels were nice and puffy. We did lock in our room keys, but those got replaced with no problem and no charge. Over all I would recommend this hotel, we enjoyed our stay! =]

OVERALL, IT WAS NICE & QUIET. GREAT BREAK FROM NYC!! HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS TO DUST BEHIND THE BED AND UNDER THE FURNITURE.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 95Unpleasant Employees
Our first episode with a very unhappy employee was when we pulled our car up to check into the hotel. We went inside to check in, and upon returning to our car we were met with a screaming (I mean screaming) employee....telling us we were not to park out front without having spoken to someone first. There was no sign indicating we could not park there, and it appeared that was exactly what we were supposed to do in order to check in. When we checked in, we walked our luggage up to the room number provided, and it was the wrong room type. We booked a marina suite, and the receptionist sent us to a regular room with a view of the roof. We carried our luggage back to the front desk and told the receptionist she gave us the wrong room type, and she said that for the price we paid on Hotels.com it must have been an error, that we should not have the marina suite. Needless to say, we did not accept her rationale and demanded the room type we reserved (reservation printed out in hand). We were able to get the room type we booked, but it was not a pleasant experience at all. Once in the room, the view would be very nice but the windows were absolutely filthy (could hardly see the view outside). Room needs updating in an urgent way, terrible decor. We were supposed to have 1 1/2 baths, only had 1. Entire experience was not worth a return trip.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 95Trump Letdown
The Trump Marina was not at all what I expected, especially for the cost of the room. The room was very dated, it seemed like no improvements had been made since the 1970s. People from that earlier time period must have been very quiet because the walls in this hotel are paper thin, with normal conversation being heard in adjacent rooms, fine at noon, but intolerable at 2:30 am if you are trying to sleep. the hallways were like large megaphones amplifying the sound of every shut door and squeal of drunken bachelorettes. On a positive note, the view was nice, and the people working at the hotel were incredibly polite and lovely to deal with, but it in no way makes up for the awful state of the hotel structure.
