Excellent Value

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this facility for the value. Convenient to local University where we visited.

As Good As Expected

I read several reviews about this hotel before my wife and I decided to chose it. The reviews were quite mixed so when we arrived I was honestly looking for some of the bad points. I was happy so see none of the bad issues I heard about (A/C troubles, rooms and hallways smelling of smoke) We had a nice room, it was clean, very nice view of the beach. By the way, the beach was right outside the site, which was nice. I dont have anything bad to say about Bahama House and I would surely recommend it to anyone who doesnt want to spend heavy cash and still be more than comfortable!

Good Deal

The room was very comfortable and the staff was super. Everyone was very helpful and cordial. We weren't too impressed with the continental breakfast, but it was okay.

Bahama House

Great Room for Money We really enjoyed our stay at the Bahama House. The hallways had a musky smell but for the price we were ok. Happy Hour and The Pool was over-run by the guests staying at the hotel. The quality of guests were below our standards! However this is not a hotel problem but a people problem. Others would get 2-3 drinks at Happy Hour and 2-3 cookies. You name it and they abused it. We are beach people so the pool problem did not bother us. The guests at the time were just too much to share with. WE would like to try this place again and see if it would not be great with a better guests. It's a nice and clean place and the staff is too nice!

Grat room for the money!!

My family and I really enjoyed this place!! We will be back next summer!

GREAT HOTEL

THE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK WERE SO WILLING TO HELP OUT. ALL THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND SAID HI. THE ONLY SUGGESTION I HAVE IS FOR SOME REASON THE HALLWAYS HAD A FUNNY SMELL NOT SURE WHY THEY WERE CLEAN MAYBE SOME FABREEZE WOULD HELP. I WILL BE BACK THERE AGAIN

Excellent hotel for the money!

We loved our stay at the Bahama House. The staff was very helpful and friendly and provided us with a small goody bag as soon as we entered the door. Our room was also upgraded with no charge! We had a beautiful ocean view with a lovely balcony to eat our breakfast on each morning. It was very quiet at night and allowed us to get a great nights sleep. I would highly recommend the Bahama House to both families and couples on vacation.

Wonderful experience

Great hotel with huge rooms. We had a room with a small kitchen and king bed. Great view and would absolutely stay here again. Staff very helpful with recommendations for local places to eat.

Needs Improvement

Hotel offered free breakfast in the morning from 7:30AM to 9:30AM. Should extend later in the AM. A tiki bar in pool area would be nice since there are no other accomodations near by. Bathroom floor very dingy and headboards on bed VERY dusty. Room had an unpleasant smell. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could have a few more "things". No bottle opener etc. Overall not bad for the price, but not great either

Outstanding Hotel!!!

We were very pleasd with our stay with The Bahama House. We had a great time even though the weather didnt corporate with us. The service was great, the complimentary breakfast was great and our favorite was happy hour!!! not to sound like an acholic but it was fun every nite for a hour complimentary drinks. The staff was friendly and i could go on fot hours we will be back Ruth, Chuck & Family
