Art Deco Hotel was a real treat. They don't push add ons. Treated very well. Only draw back was parking but that is a DC issue.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 25outstanding hotel and is a great room for the money
Excellent location for my family and I when taking my daughter to Howard U. Will be staying there often when we go for visits, great for my shih tzu.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 25Our first stay here
Check in service and subsequent request for assistance prompt and curtious. Our room had a king bed (very comfortable), kitchenette, sofa, and bathroom (no tub, stand up shower)all clean. Found street side parking easily, but that was probably because of time of day. We stayed one night, convienent location for us. We would stay here again, but one thing, they required a $50 deposit, to be returned. Hope it is.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 25It was fine...
Perfectly nice hotel in a good location, just not great. Website designers did a great job of dressing-up the hotel. Looks better online than in person, but not bad. Shower head in the room was defective and just dripped out. Nice to have kitchenette, but it was pretty small. Large-screen TV almost too large for the size of the room. Somewhat dizzying to watch. Parking lot is very small. Managed to get a space, but, had we not, it would have been difficult to find nearby parking. Hotel breakfast only marginal. Scrambled eggs tasted like they were old. Other items also just okay. In summary, the hotel was fine, but nothing I would go out of my way to recommend or stay in again. I would not necessarily avoid it, either.

Great location and pretty neighborhood by many embassies. The kitchenette came in handy when our daughter didn't feel well to go out to dinner. Easy access to restaurants and the Dupont Circle Metro station.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 25Nice place
great area and the room was very comfortable. Don't plan to park at the hotel (ridiculous) but on-strret parking wasn't a problem. The coffee maker didn't work

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 25Excellent Dupont Circle Hotel
Many hotel "suites" are a slight increase in square footage with a few more features than a standard room. At the Carlyle Suites the room had a separate dining area, kitchenette, and a dressing area outside the bathroom. The main room was spacious with the King bed, couch, dresser, 2 night stands, coffee table, and flat screen tv. The parking lot is very small, however weekend parking on the street is free. I kept an eye on the parking lot and eventually was able park there. A car really is not necessary to navigate the city since the subway system is fantastic. Between the traffic circles and one-way streets, the traffic situation is a nightmare...I needed a car for travel to a wedding, otherwise I would forget renting one while in DC.

Fantastic Hotel,Fully equipped with high standard amenities. Cleanest sheets and most comfortable bed. To bad there is shortage of parking space. Overall, great place to stay, strongly recommended.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 25Good room for the money & location
It was in a good condition. Only a few blocks from Dupont Circle station which was convenient. Our room was not facing high-traffic New Hampshire Ave so it was nice & quiet.

Located very close to Dupont Circle, it offers good sized rooms with small basic kitchens. the only drawback is the shortage of parking.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 25Great hotel for visitng DC
This hotel is nicely located in a good neighborhood and close to good restaurants and the metro. The hotel is in excellent condition with a friendly staff. Parking is limited but free if available. Otherwise parking on the street can be tough. the rooms are well equipped with a small kitchentte area and a coffee maker. Bathrooms are very nice. internet is free but bring an ethernet cable.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 25bad choice of place....
parking takes about 30 mins to look for a spot and about 10 streets away. service was not good at all. checking in started with ignorance and they seemed to have no information for any tourist. only positive thing i can say is decor was nice.
