Holiday Inn Niagara Falls Scenic Downtown

Great location on the american side of the falls.

Everything that there is to do dealing with the american falls is within walking distance. Also there are many great restaurantw within walking distance, so you do not need to pay parking fees if you walk. The price of the room was excellent for the location. The Canadian side of the falls was viewable from goat island which is nice for a person without a passport.

This hotel was overpriced for the room. The floor was wood laminate and I wet a hand towel and mopped the floor which was covered in long black hair. The bathroom was handicapped accessible, but thank goodness I wasn't because I could get down on my hands and knees and mop up the floor that leaked from the shower. There is only one American restaurant around the area, but 5 Indian restaurants. There is a casino within walking distance, but other than that, forget it.

Did not expect to pay for breakfast after paying that amount for 1 day stay.

Great hotel

Great location, helpful staff... but, be sure to double lock your room at night (and put the do not disturb sign out)... the cleaning staff twice tried to enter our room without knocking, long before checkout time.

double check your room

i had reserved a room online thanks to hotels.com which worked great except i got to the hotel and my room and found that the room i booked was not the correct room. i had booked a 1 king size bed and got 2 queen size beds.

Ok for short stay

Interior of hotel not in best condition. But the location is optimal for walking to the falls or casino.

ok hotel- but cold

hotel was cold...especially in the pool area and the hallways...had to stay in the spa to stay warm,was uncomfortable getting in and out..

Great Hotel

The staff is very nice and if you are traveling with your family this hotel is great. The layout is great, the pool area has the arcade,T.V., big cozy couches and chairs and also has a door to the resturant and lounge. Our room was very clean and a good size. The hotel is also very close to the casino but if you are going to walk i recommend you don't go in the winter.

Needs Improvement

The hotel location was perfect for visiting the Falls and Canada. The laundry services and business center were a nice convenience. The room we had was big and comfortable, but the bathroom could have been cleaner (some type of build-up and water splotches on some surfaces). We had less than half of one roll of toilet paper when we first arrived in the room. By the time we went out for sight-seeing the next morning we were out of toilet paper and figured we would wait for housekeeping to replace it when they serviced our room. We arrived back at almost 5pm and our room had still not been serviced. We called guest services to request them to at least send some toilet paper up, and 25 minutes later still nothing. We had to complain before the room was serviced and finally *1* roll of toilet paper was left for our room.
