Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 41Great room for the money
Great room for the price! There were excellent views from the room, and superior conveniance to beach. The staff inparticular: Will and Jeff were courtious, friendly and exceptionally professional while making us feel very welcomed. However, the fact that the hot tubs by the pool was broken made it a bit disconcerting.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 41good room for the money
The room was a little small, but it was clean and inexpensive. The beach and pool was great, but the hot tub needs some work. The $5 a day parking fee was a little excessive, but we enjoyed it for the money.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 41Very Nice Hotel
Hotel was nice. We have stayed there a few other time. They need to clean the hot tub . We could not use it because it was dirty and cold. It was the same with previous stays. Otherwise, hotel is very well kept and clean. Nice pool area and big rooms with a small kitchenette area.

room was great and very clean. We originally requested an oceanview and when we got there it wasn't what we got, however they were very quick to accomodate what our original reservation was.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 41Second Time NOT a Charm
This was my second stay. The first time I paid a little more and it wasn't as great as I expected. The second time, it was a little less money, so I figured I could live with it. What I didn't expect was the rapid deterioration in condition ! The lobby is lovely and clean, the rest is not. All of the following items were dirty and in poor condition: room, towels, elevator, breakfast room, pool lounge chairs and pool area. They need to hire new management or get them a pair of glasses! I will not stay again. Also they have the nerve to charge $5.00 extra a day for parking. That's an outrage! What a shame. It's looks nice, but you will be disappointed. Thought you'd like to know!!

Overall the hotel was ok, my only complaint would be the pool and jacuzzi were not very clean, especially the jacuzzi.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 41Pretty good, not outstanding
The hotel was right on the beach, was fairly convenient if you have a car, and the room was a decent size. However, I was there with a large wedding party so I got to see a wide variety of the rooms. First, the "efficiencies" are not actually efficiencies. There were no dishes or silverware and the refrigerator was just a mini-frig. However, some of the non-ocean view rooms actually had a full refrigerator, a breakfast bar, and were generally just a lot nicer. The efficiencies were small too. Essentially, you aren't getting much besides a view, which is only slightly better than the rooms on the side of the building. Second, there were bugs that were described as "blind mosquitoes" that were everywhere- in the rooms and all over the balconies. I realize they had a lot of rain before we got there but I was down quite often and in several rooms of another resort hotel a few doors down and they did not have that problem at all. Also, the room keys got de-magnitized if it was anywhere near a cell phone so we were constantly locked out and had to go back downstairs to get new keys at least once a day. That wouldn't be a problem except the 2 elevators were SLOW. I mean extremely SLOW- and a little scary. They were also used as service elevators so it took even longer throughout the day because the maids took the whole day to get through the hotel. Finally, the maid service was seriously lacking. Every time, something was missing from what they were supposed to be checking or replacing- towels, toilet paper, etc. Bottom line, it's a good enough room if the price is right.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 41Great Room with a great price
This hotel was very nice. The view from each room was an ocean view and each morning, my son would sit outside on the balcony and watch the birds. It was peaceful and quiet and the staff was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 41Comfortable Retreat
We ended our cruise vacation with a three night stay at the Acapulco Hotel & Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view. The overall experience of very good for the price paid and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast and staff could hardly have been better.

I used to stay at the Acapulco as a kid and have great memories from then. It is an older hotel, but rennovated and kept up well. The pool is deeper than most hotel pools and Barbara who runs the Tiki Bar is amazing. Make sure you sit and talk with her when you visit.
