Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown

Great Room, but make sure there is not an event at the convention center.

The room was very nice, however make sure that there is nothing going on in the Salt Palace Convention Center behind the hotel, otherwise you may be kept up all night. There was a festival going on in there until 1:30am and we did not get any sleep until it was over.

Excellent Hotel at a great price

Just remember that you will have to pay for parking when you get there.

Lets just say...

The hotel as a whole is nice. This is my second stay here and for the price its hard to beat. This time I got a chance to use the pool and sauna area. And man let me tell you... it was a joke! The hot tub was cold with a bunch of chil-ren. It wasn't anything nice. They need to have a separate area for adults. So don't plan on getting wet or relaxing in the jacuzzi. Anyways hopes this helps.

Great Service!

We asked for a small fridge in our room and it was brought to us within 15 minutes, it was a friday afternoon the weekend of the Fourth of July! I was suprised, after receiving it from a nice man, we got a phone call checking to make sure it had arrived and that all was well. I felt they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

Never Again

The hotel staff was not friendly at all. We stayed because of the rate and they advertised the Sleep Number Bed. Well the sleep numbe remote didn't work and we had a Maintenance Man in our room for a good hour fixing it and finally had to replace it. He had to climb around on our bed to get it fixed. The door was busted in the bathroom and the glasses that were supplied in the room had rings around the rim of the glass and we didn't dare drink out of them. When I called the hotel the day of our stay to ask if we would get a sleep number bed, the woman in reservations was very rude and abrupt and said we would not know until check-in time. She acted like we were a pain! I would never stay in another Radisson Hotel... it was rundown.. and not that clean...

All in all... Good

Check in time was 3:00 PM MST and got there at 4:00 PM didn't get in till 5:30. So that really sucked but we made it through it. $10 parking a night really stinks. But hotel is overall nice. I asked for a refrigerator in the room and I got it so that was nice. I will stay again.

Great get-away!

Stay here with my boyfriend one night for a mini-vacation, and we LOVED it. Very nice, clean, hotel staff at the front desk are very helpful and polite. Love having the Sleep Number bed, fun to try and great to sleep on. Really nice having it so close to down town, walking distance from great resturants and nice site seeing.

Nice place minor problems

We had one rude gal at the front desk, everyone else was great. We reserved king beds through hotels.com and when we arrived they put us in double full bed rooms. After asking to be moved they were really nice and moved us right away

Parking

Had to pay for parking. Did not expect that. I did not see it posted online anywhere. This is one of the reasons why we chose here because the price. After tacking on the $10 parking it took it above some of our other choices.

Our stay

I disliked the parking and the rates at which they cost at this time. The restaurant is still under construction which was okay the temp spot that we ate at was nice and quiet. The roomservice was very prompt. They quoted us a time and were there to the minute. The bed was amazing for us both. After some work finding the comfort zone it was great.

Great Convenience

Convenience is great, bed was comfortable, nearby shopping. Food a little expensive eat some where else
