Great deal for the money

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I can honestly say that they met my expectations above and beyond. The service there is exceptional.

Lovely Visit

We (me, my husband and our 24 year old daughter) arrived at the Courtyard Marriott Lake Buena Vista on a Thursday night and were greeted very warmly and shown to a very lovely room. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (although we did not receive any vouchers because we had booked on Hotels.com. Free good coffee was great! The only downfall we experienced was that the hotel store did not carry a wide choice of things and we did not have a car so we had to do a bit of walking to find food. A better way of showing visitors the local eateries (which are within walking distance) would really help. The pool(s) were clean and well stocked with towels. I would stay at this Courtyard again, and will recommend it to others.

Good hotel

We enjoyed our stay at The Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista at Vista Centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom had a damp, musky smell that went away after we had the fan running. The beds were comfortable, but the pull-out couch was not and it can only fit one person. Short drive to get to Disney and restaurants.

Great Value but Room & Bed Size were small.

Centrally located and well within walking distance to a selection of restaurants and convinence store. We took the breakfast plan during our stay and it was worth it as they had a huge selection with the option of "eggs cooked to your preference." The rooms were a little small and the hotel has only Double Bed as their biggest, so it does get a bit uncomfortable if you are a couple sleeping in one bed. Besides the size of the bed and the room, everything else was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a gift shop that is almost like a small general store. Like I said earlier, for the price, it was worth it, except for the room and bed size.

Good Value for the Money

What attracted me to this hotel initially was the rate. Knowing the Marriott Courtyard brand, I pretty much knew what to expect. Except for some old plumbing/bathroom fixtures, the hotel was great. Enjoyed the pools and gym while not at Disney and the shuttle bus to and from the parks from the hotel was much appreciated. The only real gripe I have is that I purposely called the hotel before I booked and was told they had complementary service to the airport. Since I had a ride to but not from the hotel, I needed that service only to find out when it was time to leave that I had to pay $40. for service to the airport for my son and I. I told the hotel what I had been told by telephone and they apologized for the misinformation (asked if I had the name of the clerk I spoke to, which , of course I didn't) but that they could not help. The desk clerk did call around to other hotels to see if anyone had complementary service that I could share but told me she had no luck.

Perfect for Trip

It was close to Disney World but just right outside the gates. We liked being off Disney property so that we could see more of Orland but close enough that we wouldn't have to be stuck in traffic to get there. Was nice coming home after a long day to a clean room and comfy bed.
