Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 9Nice but...
The room was spacious and clean. But the breafast was terrible. No shampoo. The staff were very friendly though.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 9A Pleasant Surprise
We expected this hotel to be adequate, but they far exceeded our expectations. This hotel is not an upscale property, but it is charming, clean and the service is excellent. Everybody was very friendly and eager to help. Especially deserving of recognition is Christine, who worked the front desk during the day. She was especially helpful in giving us guidance, directions and advice. She was very sweet to our little girl and was very patient even though we had LOTS of questions for her. Thanks, Christine! The room with a loft was nice as it had a queen bed on the main floor and 2 twins in the loft. We had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. There was a microwave, coffeemaker and fridge in the room as well. They have pastries and coffee in the office for breakfast for free, but also offer various sundries for purchase. The location is very convenient. It's within easy walking distance of the streetcar stop. Voodoo bbq is across the street and is a must visit. We definitely recommend this hotel. Next time we go, we might try one of their sister properties, the Prytania Oaks.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 9Great Hotel for Cruisers
Convenient location to the Cruise Terminal. Easy access to the St. Charles streetcar for the French Quarter, and far enough away from there, if you don't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We liked having the continental breakfast in the courtyard out in the open air. I liked sleeping in the loft, but it was early enough in the year, so it wasn't too hot. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 9New Orleans Vacation
During our recent vacation in New Orleans we stayed at the Prytania Park Hotel. The room had all the amenities needed and was very clean. The hotel staff we exceptional. They provided maps to our desired locations, made reservations for us, and were always very pleasant. I would definately recommend this hotel to my friends.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 9Great hotel, overpriced for the quality
Great hotel and great customer service. The staff was VERY helpful anytime we had a question or needed anything. 5 stars for that! Free parking a plus. Quiet neighborhood and right off a trolley stop to go to Bourbon Street via St. Charles. Location just a few turns off the interstate and easy to find. I thought it was a bit overpriced considering the wallpaper was peeling off and the rooms were itty bitty. Our room wasn't hot but our family has stayed in another room with a loft, and they had to ask for fans. Cleaning lady was loud in the hallway and kept waking us up at 8:00 AM.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 9Nice and Quiet
A perfect place for us, away from the downtown, but close enough to see everything with the streetcar. Highly recommended.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 9Cute non-conventional Hotel
We got one of the rooms with a loft. It worked great, while the loft was hot to start with. We simply reversed the ceiling fan, and that solved the problem. Quaint hotel, conveinetly located. Desent price, did not like the No cancel policy, but if your sure your coming that does not matter.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 9Very Cozy
Our stay was very nice. Room made us feel like we were staying in a small New York apt right down to having your own 3 step stoop in front of your room door. The beds were very comfortable. We had a 4 poster bed. There isn't any extras at this hotel such as a pool but everything else was great. We would stay again if we ever go back to New Oleans.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 9Friendly Staff, Good Service
Although the city of New Orleans itself looks like there has been no change since Katrina, the Prytania Hotel was a very nice place to stay. It's only a couple miles away from the French Market and is tucked away with it's own parking lot that is free. It's unbelievable that you will pay $30 to get anywhere close to the French Market. Not at Prytania. We arrived after 11pm at night and were lost in the city and the friendly concierge was kind enough to stay on the phone while we found our way to the hotel. The room is nice as we stayed in one of the lofts. The stairs are very neat and it's nice to sleep up top versus along with the kids. The room was comfortable and the beds were the same. We were very satisfied with this hotel and the price. Again, parking is the big waste of money in New Orleans and you won't waste any money here.
