Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 8Highly recommend for familes
We were very impressed with the condo we stayed in and found it suitable for two couples or a family. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Overall it was was a nice experience but my daughter-in-law got her clothes stolen. She also overheard a lady commenting to management that her money was stolen. It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location on a beatuiful island. It is a nice place to stay but lock your suitcases.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 8Great location, outdated room
We stayed here for 3 nights total (2 @ beginning and 1 @ end) of our 2.5 week vacation to Hawaii. It was a great location (right on the Kaanapali beach) and they upgraded us to bigger rooms both times at no charge. The first room was one of their 2 bedroom/loft options which was really nice and afforded great beach-front views. The second was a 1 bedroom with a huge patio, but was suffering from a dreadful case of the '80s throughout and not much of a view. The main hotel was nice, but nothing special. The main pool was fun for the kids and a nice place to hang out by the edge of the beach. Since we didn't stay in the actual room we paid for I can't accurately judge the "studio" room, but given the brief views I saw of some ground-floor rooms I'd use caution when booking to ensure you have a non-ground floor room (their "patios" were nothing more than the sidewalk). The on-site laundry facilities were useful, but it was a pain having to drag our laundry to another building/dig for quarters/etc. I'd consider staying again but only for a short stay unless I knew that I could get a 1 or 2 bedroom condo for the duration.
