Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 31My favorite Boston hotel!
I am from the area so occasionally steal away for a night in the city with friends and we love the Marlow. It is clean, classy and the staff is always so nice. We love to walk to the North End for dinner and can access the trains very easily. The price is great for a really well run hotel.

I had a horrible stay at this hotel. Do not book a smoking room since there is no smoking allowed within a hundred feet of the place. You cannot shut the blinds at all and when the lights are on near the entrance or the sun comes up...you are going to be WIDE AWAKE. The mini bar was not locked and i refused the key before i got my room, so i have no idea if i got charged even though i informed them of it. Did not even notice a small blood stain on my pillow until the next morning. Lucky for me it was on the other side. Finally when i was leaving the garage very early in the morning, there was nobody to let anyone out of the garage. I am not kidding about anything I have posted here. Good luck to whoever checks into this overpriced dump!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 31Great hotel for the price
Although our GPS had a tough time tracking the hotel, we forgot all about that upon entering the hotel. Check in was fast, easy and pleasant. The room was a bit small, but for the price we didn't care. We loved the complimentary coffee in the morning and the complimentary wine hour in the evening. The hotel is dog friendly, which was also a plus for us! It's location was excellent and we were very satisfied with our weekend stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 31good deal, clean and nice
yeah, it was all it should have been. nice and clean, goofy but cordial staff, nice shower/water pressure, good quality towels. no coffee maker in the room, but other than that functioned quite nicely for a two night stay.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and a great value for the price. The staff went out of their way to help with any questions we had. I would definitely stay there for any future visits.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 31Wonderful Staff!
The staff at the Hotel Marlowe go above and beyond every time. The service was impeccable. Our every request was fulfilled with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. There is no area that is run down. A very clean place to stay. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was the lack of inexpensive convenience items. There is no store nearby after 9:30. There is a mall in the same block of the hotel and that is nice but the stores close at 9:30. The only way to get a drink or "munchies" is to order room service, which is standardly over-priced.
