Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 112hotel needs a little more ammenitites
The one thing that was disappointing about the hotel was that it did not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. Some of the guests were quite noisy and the $20 per night charge to park when the gate to enter or exit did not work most of the time was a hassle. The hotel was pretty and kept in good, clean condition. We also had a Deli on the floor that provided snacks and sandwiches which was helpful. They did not provide free internet service in the room, but had a nice area to do so.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 112Great Hotel
This is a great hotel. I recommend valet partking over self parking, The only problem I had was my room adjoined a suite, and the door was opened from the other side while I slept and the hotel was not aware the door did not lock on both sides.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 112Bring shower shoes and $25 per night to park your car.
The room was spacious and in a great location. However, the bathrooms weren't very clean. My daughter and I showered in shower shoes because the bath tub stayed dirty, even after receiving daily cleaning service. I think the hotel price was a little expensive. I was taken by surprise by the $25 per night for parking.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 7 of 112Great room, but many extras
My stay at the hotel was very positive, except for some minor disappointments. There was an extra charge for parking and if you wanted WiFi in your room, there was an extra charge for that as well. The location of the hotel was amazing. It was in the heart of downtown, very close to major attractions such as the aquarium, world of coke and millennium park.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 112Don't stay here unless you need an Indoor Pool
We chose this hotel because we needed to stay somewhere that had an indoor pool, so our kids could get some release some energy while we were traveling. Atlanta had limited hotels with indoor pools, probably because of it's typically temperate climate....of course we were in Atlanta in November and it was cold and rainy. Anyways, I would avoid this hotel. It needs LOTS of renovations, the rooms were TINY! and the service was less than adequate. OVERPRICED and OLD! Stay somewhere else, unless you need the indoor pool!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 112Disappointed
When we first arrived, at 9 pm, our room was not ready! They gave us a room on the first floor which later we discovered opened to a parking lot! And also had a driveway over it and all night we heard a rumbling noise. The manager in the morning promised to move our luggage when another room became available. When we got back to the hotel at night, around 10 pm, he had not fulfilled his promise. The manager on duty, however, promptly took care to move us as quickly as possible. The new room had a noisy heater. Within an hour maintenance fixed the problem and the manager was quite nice about it. Finally that night I had a good nights sleep. But I will never return to that hotel... it certainly did not live up to the reputation which I expected and it was far too expensive for what it had to offer.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 112Not what I expected
First, the good: The staff was nice, and the beds were good, and the room clean. The hotel entrance and facilities were quite nice and upscale. Not so good: The room was rather small, and had a view of the dingy roof outside. I felt a giant sucking sound leaving the parking garage ($30 for one night, not even Valet parked!). The hotel is basically surrounded by ghetto (it's Atlanta after all).
