Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 41GREAT SERVICE
The Valet Capt. "Juan" was absolutely excellent. The Concierge, Andre, was phenomenal to help with finding restaurants, directions to Marta, and very, very personal service. Excellent front desk staff. Only "slight" complaint was that thermostat in room did not work properly and it got a little hot. Otherwise, fine hotel. Excellent location and easy access to interstate and other locations.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 41Great Location, Cozy Rooms
This Hotel is downtown. Lots of one-way streets, you may have to go around the block depending on your direction. The parking deck is quite inconvenient because of the doors, stairs and narrow outdoor, slightly lengthy walkway that you must take to get back to the hotel. The Hotel is large and has a nice central courtyard with pool and gaurden. The rooms have balcony or patio access to the courtyard. There is a nice cafeteria type cafe with fresh, tasty selections on the 3rd floor. They serve Starbucks Coffee... The decore is colorful and fresh in the common areas. The front desk staff could be a little friendlier.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 41Value Room
The room was nice, but the bathroom was small. We were disapointed in the restaurant food, but the service was good. The room was a good value for our purposes, so next time we will venture out for dinning.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 41Hotel was OK
The parking cost is ridiculous for self parking. The location was ok, not too close to anything.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 41Needs a lot of improvment
I am not sure when this hotel was built, however it is really shabby. The elevator by my room stopped working after 5pm when I arrived at the hotel and they never repaired it. The front desk staff were very rude. If I was not attending a work event, I would have left.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 41Some Strangeness
Decent hotel, decent room. My coworkers and I ran into some strangeness, though. One day two engineers were right outside my room, tearing the door handle off of a guest room door. When I came back from my meetings, the handle was on the floor, the engineers were nowhere to be found, and another employee was standing there telling us that we couldn't enter our rooms until the engineers returned. One of my coworker's door was unlocked as well. After 20 minutes or so, they let us into our rooms. Nothing was missing, but a strange experience nonetheless

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 41overall a good experience
Hotel is older, but has been renovated. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished, although small, especially the bathroom. Rooms a little noisy--not helped by rude guests yelling in the halls until very early in the morning. Staff was courteous and helpful. Good eating options right in the hotel, including full-service dinner restaurant, breakfast and lunch buffet and 24-hour cafe. Beautiful pool area with glass atrium, fountains, greenery, whirlpool. Well-equipped fitness center with cybex resistance training machines, treadmills, stair steppers, recumbant bikes and free weights. About 3 blocks to nearest METRA station and shopping. I thought it was a little pricey overall for the amenities/quality, but would stay again if in the area.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 41Would have rather been camping
The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The sheets were so cheap that they scratched my face. Some kind of bug bit me twice while I was sleeping in the bed. There were flashing lights all over the room. The TV would only turn on about 30% of the time. On the plus side, hotel employees were relatively nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 41Good services
The services of this hotel are excellent. When I complained about the noiseness of the room due to outside traffic and ventillation. The front desk manager helped me getting the right room for three times.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 41Poor value for the price.
I reserved a room with 2 beds and an outdoor balcony. The room we were given had the balcony inside the pool enclosure. After calling the front desk and waiting around for a call back, I had to go down to the front desk to try to resolve the situation. We were given a room with an external balcony, but only one bed, and there were three of us, so to avoid further annoyance, my friend wound up sleeping on the chair all weekend. The room was rediculously tiny for the price we paid, and all the food we had from the hotel was rediculously overpriced for the quality.
