Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 9Excellent hotel
The lobby is wonderful. The staff is extremely helpful. The view from our window was amazing. The room was larger than we thought it would be. Very comfortable and very clean. Convient for the bus routes. Shuttle to/from train station was very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 9Fine room for the money - no real food to speak of...
This hotel is fine for getting to the airport easily in the morning. But, they only have a dinner buffet and it is expensive and not very appetizing. The room was fine, for the price. The service was adequate, but not as friendly as the rest of Japan was.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 9Great Room for the Money
The hotel was very nice. It compares very favorably with some 4 and 5 stars that I have stayed at. The hotels in Japan are very pricy with few if any Motel 6 or Super 8,s avaiable. The hotel staff was very attentive and allowed us to stow our luggage while we took a side trip to Taiwan. Check out time is 11 am but they were accompdating enough to allow us to store our luggage at the hotel until our flight that evening. I will definitely stay there if the opportunity arises again. Sincerely, Leon in upstate New York.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 9Clean, Western-style hotel with shuttle bus to airport
After 3 weeks in Japanese hotels, both western style and Japanese style, I was pleasantly surprised to find a room with a queen sized bed, plenty of space, and a full bathroom with American Standard fixtures including a full-sized American tub. Everything was very comfortable. There isn't much happening in that part of town, so not much to see other than the Christmas hotel across the street and a few restaurants down a few blocks. The in-hotel restaurant is tremendously overpriced, so I didn't eat there. This hotel runs a shuttle to and from the airport and the train station. Unfortunately, I didn't know the schedule for the bus to the station when I arrived, so I wound up taking a taxi. That was only about 900 yen, so not too bad. There is a little shop at the hotel in case you want to buy some souvenirs while you are there.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 9Decent hotel near Narita Airport
We used the International Garden Hotel for two one-night in-transit stays during a recent trip to Japan and China. It's conveniently located near the Tokyo International Airport at Narita. The hotel runs a frequent free shuttle bus to and from the airport and also to the Narita train station. Room is modest but quite adequate.

Room was just the right size for the price. The shuttle bus back and forth from the airport was very nice and convenient.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 9It is a good hotel
Price was good. Shuttle services are great and prompt. Be careful when going to the airport to make sure which terminal your flight is. There are TWO possible terminals. If you missed it, fortunately it is not really that far. Convenience store next to hotel is a great plus. Lots of delicious bentos and traditional japanese fried food such as takoyaki. All very delicious. The hotel restaurants were allright but we did not try it because there are many less expensive and delicious options. There are many good restaurants nearby but at least 15 min walk - in the cold it is not fun at all. Maybe the shuttle can drop you there - have to ask first but you definitely need to walk back to hotel. Our luggages were stored when we left the hotel to downtown Tokyo for couple of days - all free of charge. Front desk is very helpful when asking for directions, etc. Trains to downtown Tokyo: use Kaisei line BUT make sure you are on the RIGHT coloured track because some tracks have too many stops. There is no free internet which is a letdown. It should be FREE !!!

The hotel was nice and clean with very courteous and helpful staff. The surrounding was quiet if you prefer it to city life. However, it has shuttle bus service to train station, mall and the airport. Although the facility's restaurant is rather expensive, there is an alternative: a 5-minute walk to choices of several restaurants and a deli next to the hotel.
