Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 26Room is big but ordinary. Service is great.
Front desk guy made my stay much more pleasant by going out of his way twice to help me with directions. Would have been an ordinary experience but for this young front desk guy. He seems sort of shy, but you just have to ask him for help.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 26Please Don't Stay Here
I was assured multiple times from this establishment that they would have parking for my van and trailer ( I called twice prior to arrival). Upon arrival, this was not the case. I was not able to stay due to these circumstances and Super 8 refused to refund my money because it was past 3PM. I have called the establishment several times only to be given the run around from the GM. I have even taken this issue up to corporate. The letter they've furnished me with states "please feel free to contact the owner/representative..." I have tried several times with no call-back.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 26Needs work
The Super 8 Rosemont O'Hare had decent service but needs work when it comes to cleanliness. The bath area had a few hairs in it when I arrived. Although the tub was clean, it had old stain marks on the flooring that were not properly cleaned and as a result, became permanent. A hotel should look aesthetically pleasing and this had some work to be done.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 26Stay away from this one.
Don't waste your money on this motel. They are a disgrace to the Super 8 franchise. They had a grand total of 19 cable channels. Half of them were too grainy to watch. There was NO ESPN. Can you believe that?? They had HBO2, but in their literature they try to pass it off as HBO. Their parking was attrocious. They had less than half as many parking spaces as they have rooms. Their internet went down the second night we were there and they did nothing to try and fix it. The person in charge that I was trying to explain the problem to could barely speak English and certainly could not comprehend what I was telling him. The front desk clerk didn't even care that the internet went down. She acted like I was annoying her by reporting the problem. Stay away from this one.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 26Noisy Neighbors
A large party checked into the next room at 1:30 a.m. and were extremely loud and obscene. It took two calls to the front desk and about two hours to settle things down. I believe they were "thrown out". Given the situation, I think the front desk did pretty well, but they should have believed me with the first call: these people were not going to settle down on thier own.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 26Decent accomodations for a short stay
The hotel location was not as easily accessible as a trveler would like, especially not for one who is driving to Chicago. The hotel accomodations were modest, but friendly and the service was good. The parking lot was hazardous and there was not enough parking for hotel guests. There are very few ammenitites in the neighborhood, oustide of two close gas stations, one would have to travel several blocks to find food service. Food delivery was available, if you like chinesse or pizza. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for someone who plans on staying in the Chicago area for more than one or two days.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 26Simple room, low cost
Overall, the hotel turned out to be adequate for a one-day trip to the west side of Chicago. Although I would be more inclined to recommend this hotel to someone with access to a vehicle (I did not), taxis arrive quickly when I called them. The room itself was relatively clean, although a large splatter of red candle wax on the wall next to the bed was a little creepy.
