Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 39Price is right for a short stay
We only needed one night. We stayed in the North Tower Deluxe Rooms which we heard were newer, I'm not sure when the time period of new was, but it's not in this decade. The room actually was surprisingly large, but as other reviewers had said, you need to keep your shoes on in the room, you can tell they don't vacuum very well. Everything is pretty dirty. But, noone goes to Vegas to stay in the room right? We stayed only 6 hours from our arrival to the next hotel. It was fine for that and it was the cheapest hotel in the Downtown area. It is located very close to all the action on Fremont Street. There is a bar with great live music on certain nights, then the hotel is packed. all in all the hotel stay was okay

We have stayed here a bunch of times and always felt we got more than our $'s worth. We have stayed in both towers and the rooms are decent sized, clean and have comfortable beds. The rooms are larger in the south tower and set up different. But both towers have rooms bigger than the ave. room. My husband And I have been hotel hopping here in town for 4 years. We take advantage of living in Vegas. And this summer the prices on rooms are too low to pass up. So once or twice a week we check out a new hotel or go back to one we liked and this is definatly one we like.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 39Great room for the money
I was honestly a little scared at first but once we got to the hotel, I was totally pleased. it's in a great location and you get to see what the "old Vegas" was like.

Hotel appears outdated...air conditionar did not even cool the room...walls paper thin and could hear the guests in the at all hours...elevator service out of order and no indication where to get the stairs...this happened during a soccer tournament so multitudes of children and their parents attempting to go in and out of the hotel via the elevator = long waits to just go one floor down...would not stay again...

We found amazing rates for this hotel for the weekend we were visiting Vegas. We've stayed at other low cost hotels in vegas and paid more for a smaller room with less amenities. The location was conveinient- just a short drive to the strip. We'll definately stay here again in the future and I'd recommend it to friends.

We enjoyed our stay and got a good rate for a place on the Freemont Street experience. The room was clean and seemed recently updated.

It was great being right on Freemont Street, being right close to enjoy all the stuff and not having to be on the main strip, was great...

The hotel service was wonderful considering we had to switch rooms twice. The bedding smelled like old musty arm pitts! You could really tell it had not been washed. Our next room didn't even have sheets the fit the bed properly! Among the numerous other things wrong with the rooms, it's not worth it even with a great price. This is more like a 1 star hotel.

The room that we were originally booked in was in the South Tower. Upon entering the room, the stench of urine was the first thing we experienced and immediately went downstairs to ask for another room. Went back to the front counter and asked for another room, requested the North Tower if possible (since we had stayed in that tower previously), the clerk was a little annoyed and gave us another room in the South Tower. She told us that if we wanted the North Tower, it would be subject to an upgrade fee per night for the same type of room which did not make any sense. Of course, we refused. The other room smelled cleaner, but was in need of a remodel - all furnishings were outdated...seemed like the last time they were remodeled was in the 1970's or 1980's. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap room with no thrills in downtown vegas, this is your place.
