Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 8Great service
The staff could not have been more courteous, friendly, and helpful. Beautiful grounds and views. The resort is a 20 min walk, 10 min bike ride and 4 min drive to downtown Aspen. Shuttle service is provided by the resort. The resort is located on the grounds of the Aspen Institute, is over 50 yrs old, and has a very 1960's, collegiate ambiance...if you can use the words collegiate and ambiance in the same sentence ;o) Lack of A/C in the suite is the only drawback of the accomodations. Would rebook in a heartbeat.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 8Beautiful Hotel
This hotel was amazing. The scenery around the hotel of the Aspen Mountains was breathtaking. The rooms are more like apartments, plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the onsite resturant (Platos) the food was delicious and the wait staff was extremely nice and even recommended other resturaunts around town to try. I WILL be staying at the Aspen Meadows Resort again, and I will recommend this hotel to everyone. I rate this resort 5 stars!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 8Unique little getaway
If you are looking for a place to get away from all the chaos, this is the place for you. It is secluded yet has all of the ameneties. It has breath-taking views and very environmentally friendly, as well as pet friendly. The restaurant has excellent food, a little pricey but worth it. Overall, I would definitely recommend to others, we will be coming back to this place in the future.

Room was 85 degrees and management stated that it was hot because the sun shines on it. That was the end of it... no one was sent to check on the AC. The room was nice, but the "resort" looks like a motel. The hotel, which is on a fairly large piece of land, charges $5 for parking. At the check-in desk, I was told that the main restaurant was excellent for dinner. We left downtown (where there are many excellent restuarants)and went back to the hotel and asked for a table. They then told us that the restaurant is closed for the season. I asked why they didn't mention that when they initially pitched the restaurant. They said that it is excellent for dinner, if you were here during ski season. All-in-all the service was horrible.
