Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 25needs improvement
For the most part, the room was ok. The shower had an insert in the tub. When taking a shower, it felt like you were on a carnival ride because it moved. I think there was water under the flexible insert. When checking out I reported it & was told it would be fixed. The other major complaint was the outragous cost of food at the hotel. For the above reasons, I would stay elsewhere.

Hotel was ok. Staff needs to make sure that a non smoking room is not smell of smoke. The fire alarm in my room was pull of the wall when i get in my room. but the stay was good.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 25Need to change the pools rules
Great room. Clean, spacious and pretty. Worked well for our family of 4. The walk from the self parking lot gave us our exercise each day. Not necessarily a bad thing. Very disappointed that the kids (13 & 15, not babies) could not use the incredible pool. The kids pool isn't great. That would be the only thing I would change about the visit. If you stay, join the club. It's free and you get a coupon book filled with valuable coupons. We used a lot of them. Would stay again.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 25great room -service needs some work
I spent 2 hours trying to get checked in. I didn't get anywhere until a manager came over. The woman at the counter didn't seem to know what she was doing. In the 2 hours I was there, she walked away from the counter atleast 3 times leaving these people to wait or be taken care of by other people. Once I got checked in everything went smooth.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 25service based on a caste system
waited in line 1/2 to check in; then waited on another line to request bell service; told it would be another 1/2 hour to get luggage delivered. next day waited 1/2 hr on line to get coffee and bagels. room was large and comfortable. tiles in shower had mildew. room needed a good vacuuming.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 25kinda disappointed
The hotel was simply okay. I hated the location, and the fact that they claim to be waterfront is very misleading.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 25Great room for the money
I found the room to be very spaciou, clean and the bed to be very comfortable. The service was prompt. The best sandwich place i've ever been to. So my compliments to one and all

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 25Great Hotel for the Price
Very reasonable prices at the Harrah's. However, front desk help was slow to pick up phone when service needed. Room amenities were great (i.e. room was clean, had small fridge, coffeemaker etc.) But location was far from other entertainment & the beach yielding increased parking expenditures. But for the decent pricing and stay, well worth the extra few dollars in parking and travel to downtown.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 25did not meet my expectations
There was good and bad with my experience so I will start with "check-in". The lines were not long at check-in (4:30pm) as previously reviewed so that was a plus and the Concierge was very helpful and available throughout our 4 night stay. Rooms: The room was a let down because our expectations were set pretty high by previous reports. We found the air conditioner not working, a mustiness smell to the room, mold on the grout of the bath tiles and some staining of the rug. we called for room maintenance to fix the AC and they were there within the hour to our pleasant surprise. The repairman said it typically takes three hours because there is only two of them to service the 2,000+ rooms. The comfort of the beds do not meet Sheraton or Marriott standards. More like low grade Inns but better than Motel 6 as a comparison. The TV worked fine but no HBO channels offered. The view from this Harbor Tower room was very good. It overlooked the harbor/river with great sunsets! Shows: Our first nite there Harrah's had a weekly Hawaiin Luau next to the pool on the sundeck. This was fun and certainly worth the $50 price. The food was very good, service friendly, and I thought the entertainment was close to the quality of Disney's Polynesian Resort. Restaurants: The restaurant quality was very good from the Politano's Italion upscale restaurant to the mid-end Deli and Reflections American-style fares. We did find them quite expensive though. For some reason, to me it shouldn't cost $53 for a full breakfast(reflections) for two and $30 for two deli sandwich combos! Pool: The adult pool was better than expected. We saw nothing but rave reviews and we have to agree. This was the best pool we seen anywhere! the combo of scenery, bikini-clad waitresses, full service bar, large custom pool with many cabanas and hot tubs was exceptional. Our only problem was that it was a long walk from the Harbor Towers which was on the opposite side of the resort. Extras: The complimentary shuttl

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 25Housekeeping Need Improving
For the price paid for the July 4th week, the hotel did not have rooms ready for guest prior to check-in and the rooms were not properly cleaned by the housekeeping staff. I would recommend the Spa and Gym facilities but the rooms are old and dirty. The cable selection in the hotel could be better. I recommend another hotel chain if you are looking for all-inclusive get-away. Try the Borgata or another casino hotel off the board walk. If you come to gamble and just want a clean place to lay your head, you can achieve this at smaller hotel chain and save money.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 25A great place to stay
After reading some of the bad reviews of hotels on the boardwalk, we decided to stay in the marina area, and Harrahs was the lowest price of the three.. We had a great time there, the rooms were neat and clean, and the casino was well laid out. I had read someones review about the buffet, and at $30.00 per person, I was a little leery about eating there, but it was fantastic, and actually well worth the price... We will stay there again.....

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 25Outstanding Hotel
Beautiful rooms and the best is the adults have their own swimming pool and the children have their own swimming pool. It makes a vacation with the family a great get away.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 25needs massive improvement
when we first saw the room, the bathroom toilet had soap suds all over the tiolet and the toilet was not cleaned after last guest. I called room service and it was taken care of. extensive noise from across my door at the dates of stay and slamming of doors At the end of stay you had constuction going on at 6:00 am to 8:00 am on the above floor or room with hammering and banging ----could it be done in later hours as oppose to so early?....could not sleep. I guess for what was offer to us I can't complain. thank you

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 25nice but lacked convenience
The hotel was beautiful and clean. However the resturants were such a long walk from the main part of the hotel and when we finally got to them the buffet had a 2 hour plus wait and the other was closed. We had to walk all the way back to the othe end of the hotel where we had the choice of 2 high end expensive resturants or a sandwich. I was very disappionted. The location proved to be inconvenent because you could just walk to another location you have to drive everywhere.
