Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 2 of 94Unexpected pleasure
I had a most pleasant stay at Harrah's. I was supposed to go with a friend, who last minute couldn't go. When I arrived to check in, and told the desk I only needed one bed, they upgraded me to a Junior Suite from a deluxe room. What an unexpected pleasure! The room had a living room and a bedroom, with a kingsize bed and 2 flatscreen tvs. The hotel itself is very well kept, the pool is especially nice, and adult only(they have a kids/family pool and activity area). I used the spa, which was quite lovely with all the "bells and whistles" included in the cost of any of the spa services. The cafe was very good but was not always available on the weekdays.(I was there sun to wed). The was always food available, either from the food court or a deli. There are 3 upscale restaurants available , steak seafood and Italian which I didn't use, so I can' say how good they are. The parking is cheap, and you get in and out privilages and can park free at their other hotels(Cesaers, Bally's, and one other I can't remember). There is a shuttle available but it doesn't run frequently enough. All in all, this was a very good experiance, and I'm sure I'll be going back.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 94A Great Getaway
I had a really good experience at the Harrah's. All of the staff: concierge, bell captains, room service, housekeeping, everyone was very nice and helpful and there was just a wonderfully joyful atmosphere. I would definately go back and stay, but perhaps in the warmer months next time.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 941st Time at Harrah's/Atlantic City
I was initially concerned about check-in when we first walked into the hotel at 4pm (check-in time) and saw all the people but they had self check-in kiosks and we were checked in and on our way to our room within minutes. Room was clean, bathroom large with beautiful tile and enough towels. King size bed comfortable. Food a bit expensive but overall we enjoyed at stay at Harrah's.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 9 of 94smoky
Have stayed in a number of hotels in AC. This was by far the smokiest, and the room had an overwhelming orange smell. Nice room, but not recommended for those with sensitive noses.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 94Enjoyable stay
Hotel staff were very pleasant. Our room was large and very neat and clean. Now - this is just for my and myself - the beds were very, very soft. Do not know if they are all like that - but next time - and we both agreed that we'd like to stay there again - I'll make sure to ask about firmer bed(s)

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 94Needs Improvement
We were extremely dissatisfied with Harrahs. When we arrived, we had no soap or shampoo and there was a dirty facecloth in the bathroom. At 11:00 p.m., we retired to our room and the occupants of the room next to ours were extremely noisy. The walls at this hotel are not soundproof to say the least. We complained three times and the noise continued. We went to the front desk and asked for another room. The person who helped us was not friendly and they appeared to be extremely short staffed. However, we were given another room and it was quiet. I would not recommend or return to this hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 94awful
dirty in all the public areas of hotel, although room was clean. housekeeping left a huge pile of dirty towels (from other rooms!) in our room. No one answers the phones at the front desk and the hotel staff is uninformed, unhelpful, and bordering on surly.

The Harrah's Resort and Casino is a beautiful hotel. I will start out with all the positives. Upon arriving it was so crowded....on a Monday. We got our room taken care of right away. Concierge and staff were very nice and Very efficient! They gave us a free upgrade to the water tower. The room was beautiful. Was a cab ride to the boardwalk....Very close. Went to Johnny Rockets for dinner. This place was great took you back to times of ice cream floats and food was great. A couple things though: 1) We got there at 4 o'clock to hotel....by the time we were settled, it was around 4:45. The pool, although very nice, did not have 1 chair available. 2) We went to sign up for the Luau Show.....Sold out :( Main reason we stayed at Harrahs is because of the pool access....and really wasnt too accessible. I would rate this hotel a 7 out of 10. Casino was alot of fun and they have tons of restaurants inside.

During the two nights I stayed at Harrahs, the hotel and restaurant staff were very unfriendly, acting as if lending you a pen or bringing you a drink would ruin their night. I arrived at my room and found stained sheets on the bed, when I requested new ones they were brought FIVE HOURS LATER and left in a pile! Management claimed to have no knowledge of this. I requested a wakeup call and was told I would receive one but then asked if I was a card-member, when I said no, the staff member hung up. The result: no wake up call, again, no knowledge of the event. As for my room, the air conditioning and television continually malfunctioned and there was a leak in the ceiling over the shower. Nearly EVERY activity involves being asked for a membership card and if you DONT have one, prepare to be treated like a second-class citizen. Prices for non-members and first timers were very steep. Those who seek some entertainment at night should also prepare to encounter a variety of "working girls" who seemed to wander in endlessly after midnight. Security pretends not to notice them or doesnt care. HOWEVER, I would say that the Casino Staff were among the friendliest people I met during my stay there. While I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel I would DEFINITELY recommend stoping by to play for a while. No matter what game I played, I must say they were always fair and respectful and most were fun to talk with.
