Impressive Hotel

Great location, great service! I've stayed here several times and never regret it. The staff is very accomidating and it's in a perfect location. A $10 cab ride will get you to a great restaurant, bar, or event.

Needs Improvement

Maintenance was lacking in this room. Toilet seat was very loose. Remote control did not work. Temperature thermostat was off by 20 degrees.

Very dissapointed

I stayed at the fairmont dallas and hated it. I booked a suite a month in advanced and when i checked in they said they were sorry they were out of suites and upgraded us to the fairmont gold room which was less than half the size of the suite.We had 5 people staying with us and the room they put us in was tiny. They also told us we had a private lounge on floor 18 but when we went up there we were unable to get in because our card would not work. Also we told them at check in that we needed a roll away bed and he said he would send one right up and when we got back to our hotel at 3 in the morning we still had not recieved the bed and had to call back up to the front to have them bring it up. They also told us we would could eat breakfest that next morning for free and it was the worst free breakfest ever. Lets just say if u book in advance theres no point.

Excellent hotel,great price!

Hotel was excellent. Extremely comfortable beds, pool was lovely. The only problem was that the AC was not working properly in our room.

Very pretty hotel

I underestimated the niceness of the fairmont dallas. It was very elegant and classy. All of the staff were curteous. The dining was a little expensive but good. The bed in my room (king gold) was very comfy. Got a little hot in the room until we realized the airconditioner was off. We turned it back on and it got better. Overall great hotel and very easy to locate!

Outstanding room with a great view for the little price

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Big Crowd, Small Room, Empty City

Make sure that you know what is going on in Dallas during your stay. If you need to guarantee that you will have two beds instead of one kind, you may want to call the hotel or check in early. We stayed at the hotel during a big dance convention, which was the same weekend as the OU-BYU game, and the hotel was booked to the point that they didn't even have many pull-outs to spare when we could only get a room with one bed. Also, be prepared to do some walking to get reasonably priced food. I hadn't seen pancakes for the price of a steak until the Fairmont.
