Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 160Could have been better
We had previously stayed at the ZaZA in Houston so I guess we expected more.... The rooms and elevators were so dark that we thought they might be hiding something. We had 2 bulbs burnt out in our room and it was so dark in there, we kept looking for more lights to turn on. The bell hop did not seem to have any idea where all the light switches were and when he saw that they were out he did not attempt to send anyone to fix them. We never saw the concierge. On the bright side it was the most "happening" place in town and we did not have to go far to find the party. The valets were the fastest I have ever seen, no long waiting for your car. Great job by their team!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 160Fun, happening hotel...
My daughter loved this one. We extended our stay because she was having such fun. The pool area, the decor and our room were wonderful. The staff was accommodating and the amenities were great.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 7 of 160A Fun Place to Stay
We just love the atmosphere of the hotel and the staff is great. The two best meals we had in Dallas over our weekend were at the ZAZA. The hotel is pet friendly and the dog senses that. He has a great time there as well.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 160Not worth the price
Unless you are staying in one of their exclusive suites the hotel is not worth the price. I had one of their deluxe suites, the room is small and very basic. The toilet was stopped up upon my arrival. It was promptly repair, but in less than 12 hours later it was stopped up once again. This is strictly a hotel were you go to be seen.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 160Feel like the A list
We feel like stars whenever we stay here - the decor of the hotel is amazingly artistic, and the staff are incredible. Love the Za Za - it is a fantastic hotel with great amenities and atmosphere. Hotels.com had an unbelievable rate - it felt like we got away with something and should have paid A LOT more.

The Hotel Zaza was everything I had hoped for and more. I choose the Hotel Zaza for the last night of an 8 day road trip in hopes of complete relaxation. I was not disappointed!! Scott, the concierge, was wonderful!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 160Very Small Pool and Picture is concieving
Hotel was very nice. Although after driving 5 hours in the heat we checked into our room only to find out the A.C. was not working and they had to send up a maintenance man to fix it. They finally got it fixed after about an hour. The hotel was very nice but very pricey. They charge for everything there on top of the high price you pay for your room. The pool area is very small and not very big at all. The picture of the pool is conceiving and makes it look bigger than what it really is. Also on Friday night we were told you could not wear shorts down to the Oasis or flip flops or hats but only to find out that you had to dress up and with the hot humid weather that was very dissapointing to us b/c we did not want to wear Jeans in almost 100 degree weather and then to find out later that night there were people down there wearing shorts and T shirts that were not even staying there at the hotel. But when we tried to go in to the Oasis pool area the would not let us in because we had shorts on and of course the would not explain why the others got to go in but we could not and at that we were paying customers staying there in the hotel were as the others were not. On Saturday we got up to go out to the pool, only to find that there was no room at all for us to even enjoy the pool at all. So we had to go some where else to even relax by a pool and enjoy being in the sun around some cool water. I would not recomment this hotel to anyone unless you are just looking for a nice hotel room and not wanting to enjoy the extras of what the hotel has to offer.
