Great room for the money

Great Hotel for the price!

This Hotel was a great place to stay. The breakfast was always on time in the breakfast room. The pool was kind of small, but no one really used it so it was like we had it to ourselves. The rooms had a great air conditioner which was good because it was really hot outside . We didn't rent a car, so we were really happy to find out the bus had several stops all around this hotel. We traveled for cheap! It was a great stay with no problems at all.

Great stay, good price

The hotel was great, there was not much around it in terms of restaurants and attractions, besides fast food, the beach was about 20 minutes away. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the pool is kind of small and the area has a lot of shade but it was clean. The breakfast was good, your typical continental with bagels and waffles and pancakes that you toast yourself, fruit and cereal, coffee and juice. All in all a great stay.

Good room for the money

The hotel is located on the West side of Fort Lauderdale. If you do not have a rental car, this hotel may not be the best choice for you if you plan to go to the beach, clubs, or downtown area. I should have done more research before choosing this hotel based on cost for the level of stay alone. With that said, once you step inside, I was greeted by the nicest staff. The renovated lobby area looks elegant, clean, and comforting. I had a king size room. The room looked and smelled clean - a huge deciding factor for me. There was a microwave and small freezer/refridgerator which is nice if you stop for a meal and have leftovers. Bathroom was clean. The only negative comments I would have are: 1. There is no view if scenery is important to you. 2. Location of hotel not convienent for travel (cost for taxies) if you are without a car. 3. Pillows on bed are thin and flimsy. It seemed like they were stuffed with tissue paper. Overall, for the cost, I would stay at this hotel again only if taxi costs were not an issue or if I had a rental car.
